Conscious Breath

CONSCIOUS BREATH EXERCISE

In this simple exercise you consciously breathe in Universal Life Energy, the first physical manifestation of the Absolute, so you are making physical, mental and spiritual contact with God. You are reconnecting consciously with God in every breath!

As you become more conscious of the Life Force and Energy of the Universe and your intimate connection, you refine the frequencies of your consciousness, allowing more healing influences in your bodies, mind and emotions. It is a purification process.

Consider adding visualization to diaphragmatic breathing to boost the benefits:

  • Stand or sit with palms up to be open and receptive to  Universal Life Energy.
  • Breath in slowly and deeply, extending the belly, while visualizing the incoming air as pure white Light full of Energy, Wisdom, Freedom and Love. Let It flow into every part of your body.
  • Hold for a count of 4 and see your body and mind absorbing the Light. Be conscious of your intimate connection with  All Life, Mother Earth, Father Universe, the Absolute.
  • Slowly, release and exhale, pulling in your belly and up into the chest, expelling all the air. See any darkness or stress you may have been holding leave you.
  • Hold for a count of 4.
  • Slowly inhale, repeating cycle. Your inhales and exhales should be equal and balanced.

Try it for 5 to 10 minutes a day. You should feel some changes coming your way immediately!

Physically:  Deep breathing is one of the best and easiest ways of building a healthy mind and body! Why? Because it can invoke a relaxation response which is very healing, energizing and cleansing.

  1. It helps release stress and all the mental and physical associated issues.
  2. It also oxygenates your brain and body cells to help you function in a clearer state.
  3. The oxygen is charged with Universal Life Energy or chi, prana, that recharges your body, mind and emotions with the Life current bringing healing properties.
  4. It circulates the lymph which removes toxins and debris including disease components, thereby physically releasing negative.

Also consider another simple, physical contact: The Star Exercise.

  2. Yes! I find this practice is so beneficial, especially when I become aware of getting caught up in the busy afternoons that tend to distract me from living in the moment and enjoying it! I also find it very beneficial if I am experiencing any physical discomfort. The deep breathing invokes a relaxation and release response. :-)) Consider sharing any results you may be aware of!

  3. I do my mindfulness meditation in the mornings and have wanted to incorporate a brief meditation in the afternoons. I think this will do it. I will give it a try. Thanks!
