There are many pitfalls on a spiritual seeker’s journey to evolve beyond the ego and one of the most uncomfortable is repressed anger. It can be subtle ….. because it may be just under the covers so to speak …. But it can also brust to the surface suddenly and shake us to the core!
It is a destructive energy and we may act on it unknowingly. There may be feelings of wanting to be better than others, of feeling self-righteous, of the need to give your opinion, of the need to protest, of the need to win and not be defeated.
We are ambitious. And repressed anger can suddenly rush to the surface and we are sooo mad that it hurts!
We want to win and the desire may be so strong that it could be at any cost! It’s the way of most politically minded individuals.
We’ve been conditioned that way….. to compete…. to strive to be better than everyone else. We compare ourselves to others. And judge.
And until repressed anger comes to the surface it is not processed and we rise above it. Repressed anger can morph into physical or mental issues. We see it in today’s society. We’re loud! It’s the lower ego.
Yet, those of us on a conscious spiritual journey can be constructively aggressive rather than destructively angry. We can be constructively aggressive by being considerate and caring, releasing fear in our hearts. By being sincere. By practicing Silence and listening to the Inner Voice and guidance. Thus, we counteract impatience, pride, fear and anger.
And when you are tempted by anger and repressed anger suddenly surfaces, be kind to yourself. Relax, take a deep breath and know that You are not alone in your fight for Inner Peace. You have the help of the Eternal and a host of others that fight for Inner Peace. Make the Mental Contact and let It help You.

” We must fight, not on the battlefield of killing, but on destroying all that is opposing real happiness with us. …. We are fighting in the army of the Eternal. ….. there should be no fear in our hearts, no matter what the pressure of the negative or the Astral. We should not say we are alone. We are not. We should rise above it and say, ‘I have within me the Sword of Truth, my helmet is the Inspiration from above.’

Thank You for adding to the post!
Thank You. And so true Love.
A timely topic for we, in America are entering the silly season of
politics. There are such hard felt emotions that lye hidden in our
inner self, our self-ego. We study from the great mystics and derive
much spiritual remembrances of who we are in actuality and feel grateful.
When a difference of opinion rises, we are tempted to enter into
judgement (I think differently than this other person, I must be right).
Incurring negative thought patterns (that have manifesting power).
Instead, if we only be quicker to “practicing the silence and listening to the inner voice and guidance”.
Thank you.
