Santa Holiday freedom

When I first heard my spiritual teacher say, “Santa Claus is a lie,” I was dazed and confused even though I knew it was true. I had been repeatedly programmed to believe he is real! But, the truth slowly sank into my conscious understanding. And I was finally freed of the illusion along with the accompanying stress, obligations and expectations. And I am so grateful.

Traditional lies and illusions can cause us to distrust our inner knowing and to feel guilty unless we take steps to expose and rise above them.

Traditional lies

During our childhood we are taught to blindly believe in certain traditions and that they are good even if we suspect something is off. And we often carry on the same traditions without considering the consequences.

The human mind is naive, especially when we are young. The ego’s desire to belong and not be left out is so strong that we blindly become ‘followers’ and stuck in serving the ego’s world.

Liberation comes through conscious awareness and Love

Until we consciously awaken, question, discriminate and listen to our inner Love and guidance, we will accept every belief, superstition  and prejudice without discrimination, which can cause us to experience self-righteousness, anger, hatred and guilt.

Yet such feelings can help those of us on a conscious spiritual journey because we have the opportunity to ask ourselves as to why we feel these thoughts and can consciously choose to serve a Higher purpose rather than the ego.

Take it or leave it

We can expand our consciousness and open to the tenderness of our heart. And, the connection to our sacred heart center leads to answers; the true reasons back of emotional disturbances.

Such insights and inspirations are messages from your soul. And, we all have additional help, including from greater realms of Harmony and the Great Principle.

You can have new thoughts. Old thoughts can be replaced with new ones, more accurate ones. With insight you can change your perspective. And your experience of reality will radically change.

Truth or consequences

The way you respond to conditions in life determines the way you evolve. It determines your power, health, success and happiness. You can be conscious of creating in the Light of Love or circle unconsciously in the consequences of karma.

But, even the path of pain, stress and doubt can lead us through the lesson to love and compassion. When we’ve suffered enough we will look for the reason why and do something about it. But we can consciously choose not to think and circle in old beliefs. And as they leave new thoughts enter and we can move on.

Being free of a false belief releases you from expectations, obligations and the mass dream. A burden lifted off your back and opens you to being conscious of the Light of Love.

All lessons lead us to remember Love eventually,

which is the base of unconditional Love.

Agony and Ecstasy; Healing Through Higher Consciousness

When we face challenges like major illnesses or catastrophic events, it can become emotionally agonizing very quickly. And physically agonizing too. We just want to tighten up into a ball or fight like hell.

But when we address agony on the mental level with a higher energy, then we ripen the potential to heal any physical agony.

address the emotions

Our feeling of agony is the hurt of the subconscious ego. It’s a suffering. And this emotional suffering is what we must address. It appears difficult because of the ego’s attachments or aversions. If we try to escape the feelings with reasoning and logical thought it is ineffective; we start to circle trying to figure it out again. And willpower makes little headway either.

The ego believes in and identifies with the feeling of agony. It’s attached even in its aversion and fear. The ego holds on and thus we ball up in compliance, or angrily fight.

Subconsciousness believes that the source of happiness is external which brings up fear of loss …. loss of happiness and ultimately loss of life. To overcome the ego’s attachments we must be willing to relinquish its attachments and aversions on the mental level.

If we address sensation energies without circling in thought and worry, rather be aware in a higher level of consciousness, we can recognize feelings without harsh labeling and judgment,

From a higher level of consciousness –

Subconscious fears enter and accumulate in our solar plexus and lower chambers of our heart and grow unnoticed. But they usually resurface when we face challenges and can affect us negatively with agonizing emotion.

I’ve found we have to be brave and entirely honest with ourselves to get to a higher level of consciousness. This is a tried and true method:

Pause. Take some deep, slow breathes. Become silent within, and allow ourself to become consciously aware of the Universal Energy Field that we are one with. Mentally focus on feeling It. It is the energy catalyst for rising our consciousness and releasing the idea and thoughts of suffering.

Let the sensations of agonistic thoughts and feelings resurface without resistance or labeling. The ego values labels and identifies with agony, suffering, fear, guilt, shame, self-righteousness. Yet, when we are aware and conscious, one with the Universal Energy Field, we can surrender these.attachments. Release and let the sensations run out.

And we eventually come to a place of calm within.

From a place of calm Healing can occur

The spiritual endeavor is to Be a higher level of consciousness, One with Universal Life Energy, The Eternal.

And in calm awareness, we can come to realizing that our happiness has always been within us rather than the ego’s belief is it outside of us, in the world..And this is a transformation of consciousness; a healing; rising out of subconscious ego to higher levels of consciousness.

It is in higher level of consciousness, in higher Energies, the very qualities of Universal Life Energy and our own Being, that the potential for physical healing can also occur.

The spiritual practitioner is responsible for the effort of surrendering the ego and surrendering desire to control the outcome, rather than dictate the outcome.

It’s our opportunity to continue to hold a high level of conscious contact with the Life Energy of the Great Causeless Cause, called the Mental Contact in Science of Being. In the Mental Contact a higher level of consciousness one is aligning Mind with Love. They become as One within and the same One with The Great All.

The mental and physical healing will work according to Universal Law as natural course of unfolding manifestation.

Raging for ages and lifting the world

Why so much violence

belief about who we are

If we are unaware and unconscious we can be greatly influenced by negative and fearful energies in the world, in the news, media and social platforms.

How can we be constructive?

When we are conscious of and express the FourSquare of our character, optimism, intelligence, truth and love, it is constructive manifestations. The greatest of these is Love and our True protection. We build to our happiness as we continually express the FourSquare of our Soul.

The ego imposes on us, urging us, compelling us to do things. Desire things. Love does not impose on us. Love doesn’t urge us. But we may be guided by our heart and intuition, to express consideration, caring, compassion, Love.

It’s consciously logical to project constructive FourSquare energies of Harmony: Optimism, Intelligence, Truth and Love. It’s our opportunity to act ….. for our own happiness and to help construct harmony in the world.

FourSquare Love in Action

We are free to express and experience whatever we choose. But when we willingly choose Love we consciously rise above subconscious egotism and rage fades.

Harmony affects everything, including the human ego. Indeed when we choose Love and Harmony we lift the world.

Energy Suckers, Part 2 – Bad Reactions and how to reestablish Harmony

During our daily spiritual journey there are energy suckers from within that can distract us from our intents meant for strength, success, happiness, and spiritual unity.

And the easiest way to become conscious of subconscious traits that derail us and cause things to go sideways is to observe our reactions concerning someone else. Others can act as a mirror to see ourself.

And, if any negative traits surface, like resentment, guilt or dread, remember it is a real spiritual opportunity!

Troubling reactions

Since everyone is different, then different notes may be aroused when we interact with others. When you begin to notice something bothersome stirring within, pay attention and notice without getting involved, thinking and feeling thoughts. Remember they are energy suckers that distract you from your core of harmony.

Some destructive energies can be subtle like impatience, resentment, pride, defensiveness, boredom, or comparison. Or appear as strong pulls toward anger, hate, disgust, sadness, jealousy, regret, or fear.

Just notice any traits that are triggered without harsh judgment, remembering that they are temporary thoughts and feelings that will pass. Negative traits are not the real you.

Listen to your Intuition and begin to fight for your harmony.

The Present Moment is empowering!

I have found it essential to pause. I take some deep, slow breathes and silently go within. In advantageous conditions I close my eyes.

Both body and mind begin to relax. And when the mind relaxes its attachment to thinkingness relaxes. Let sensations, thoughts and feelings flow by without giving them attention. It becomes natural for mind to gravitate to peace and silence that is always there.

When you become Silent within, then it’s an opportunity to become conscious of the ubiquitous Universal Energy field. In that contact with Universal Life Energy you are countering the undesirable trait with All Positive Energy and the other qualities of Intelligence, Truth and Love.

You are choosing and allowing uplifting energies and your character and experiences will eventually change as those qualities surface in your consciousness.

More Positive Responses

Calmly negate any destructive thoughts and feelings like anger throwing them in a mental trashcan. Instead reach for Positive qualities that are naturally within your Heart like Gratitude, Optimism, Understanding, Compassion and Love.

Deliberately change discouraging thoughts to allow more uplifting, feel good thoughts that will attract more uplifting thoughts. For example, if you observe jealousy rise its head, deliberately allow yourself to be happy for the other person. And this attracts more uplifting thoughts and emotions like gratitude and compassion.

I have experienced first hand negative, low frequency personality traits surface repeatedly that sucked optimism right out of me. I’ve found resentment very subtle, but when it cropped up I quickly focused on gratitude in silence.

Live in the Present Moment. Use it. And act to re-align with your spiritual intents using the FourSquare as a map to happiness.

The Core

It’s a process of being courageous enough to be honest about ourself, releasing negativity and remembering what we truly are. I have repeatedly fought for harmony and have come to know the core of what I am. And so can you.

I invite You to share your own experiences or insights for overcoming negative reactions concerning someone else.

Pulling strings of treacherous sub-servant

Photo by Fady Hany on Pexels.com

We get preoccupied with our human reality, dealing with it, and even getting lost in it. And, as discussed in the last posting, the subconscious ego has a great influence in our life. It can be treacherous, causing us challenges. And it can be so dominating that there is very little chance of us having real rational thought!

Yet, subconsciousness can serve us when we pull the strings that challenge us and clear a way for our happiness and destiny.

STRINGS AND SLIPPERY SLOPE OPERATIONS

We become conditioned to react in similar ways to similar situations because our thoughts follow established and well-traveled brain synapse paths from past experiences stored in the subconscious. Subconsciousness has accepted every thought, emotion and experience indiscriminately and let them grow unnoticed.

However, those energies eventually return to our conscious reality in warped states. We can circle in resurfacing egotistic traits like guilt, regret, and angry from the past and unreasonable anxiety and fear about the future. We don’t appreciate and enjoy the present.

When we are honest with ourselves and the condition of the ego, we raise our level of consciousness into courage, which helps us evolve, even more. One of the best ways to become more aware of egotistic traits with ourselves is to observe how we react to other people!

PULLING THE STRINGS

So when you become aware of feeling that something is wrong, kindly consider these steps to pull those strings that bother you as they crop up so you can let them go and build your happiness. This way the subconscious ego becomes your servant:

1. When you experience feelings of impatience, worry, anxiety, dread …. those are like strings resurfacing to consciousness from the subconscious ego. Pause. Take some deep breathes, and become the conscious watcher of the thinker. Just notice your thinking and feelings without getting all involved and reacting to them.

2. Then go deeper to that level of consciousness where you are the unattached observer, just noticing the watcher and swirl of activities without harsh judgment.

3. Bring to the surface of your consciousness the opposite of what you may observe …… love instead of fear, courage in the face of scorn, gratitude when tempted by blame or regret, or understanding instead of hatred or desire.

This is a quick and easy method when challenged, yet conscious in the moment.

4. Go deeper still! Listen to the Silence within. And you will eventually begin to feel the Power of the Universe in that Silence, Universal Life Energy! Contact It consciously, feeling It move through your body and mind. It refines your consciousness even more to higher frequencies of calm, peace, compassion and gratitude.

5. Use your power of conscious discrimination …… pull the string of any disharmonious feelings or thoughts like anxiety, worry, guilt, shame or whatever it is, and reject it. Negate it. Throw it in a mental trashcan, and flood yourself with the Power of Universal Life Energy. That Power heals and harmonizes negative energies, clearing the way for more loving energies within you to surface.

6. Then leave it to the Great Principle, trusting and having faith it will be taken care of according to Universal Law.

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

“Whenever you feel the impulse to indulge some negative inner call, school yourself to bring out instead the exactly opposite and positive quality. In so doing, you lift the weight of wrong which seeks to drag that negative trait into expression, and by destroying its influence in your life you restore the proper balance within you.”

Need to change someone else

Photo PSLB

You ignore the health of your own sanity when you try to change someone else. And self-righteousness and every subconscious trait that supports that line of thinking can eat up the Light of your mind and emotions. You can end up changing yourself by strengthening the subconscious ego when you try to change someone else!

We all are in the same boat, so to speak. We all make mistakes and experience the subconscious ego. It stinks, but that’s the way it is. We can’t change anyone else. Everyone is incredibly strong and has a right to their behaviors even if it is harmful for them! Sad, but true.

One of the best ways to help anyone change for the better is to work on changing ourself. To consciously choose to realize subconscious traits we experience and choose to express enthusiasm, wisdom, sincerity and caring instead, in everything we do. To be FourSquare.

We can learn to forgive ourselves and others ….. that is realize that we may make mistakes and it causes problems, yet it is temporary and we can get up on the other side of it and look forward to new opportunities. And live in the moment.

So if we’re trying to help someone it is to everyone’s benefit to be Strong and most of all Loving ourselves. To be grateful and happy in the moment. To be centered within our Soul and the Truth of Spirit. To be FourSquare.

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

” The wiser we become, the more harmonious we become, and the more useful we are to ourselves and to others. Wisdom governs justice and includes Love. Wise people are fundamentally kind people. Wisdom never forgets anything, but never resents anything.”

Eugene Fersen, Aphorisms of The Lightbearer, page 134.

Today’s consideration: Food, sex, worries; So many distractions

Thinking is an addictive distraction, especially when we have an intent to quiet the mind, to mediate and come into your Real Self. We tend to think about things we try to avoid or repress when we get quiet and listen to ourselves. Things like that chocolate we’re missing, the sexual pleasures we’re missing, and the many, many solutions to worries we’re missing.

It’s normal for us all. That’s important to remember when the guilt and the hurt of it all begins to further distract us. Yet, we can free yourselves with practice.

Just keep being conscious and aware of the temptation to be distracted. Just observe, be the watcher of the thinker without judgment. And amazingly, in that awareness of the temptation to be distracted, you have entered a meditation of observation. Whereas, if you we unaware of being distracted then one thought leads to another. And you can circle there.

Let compassionate Love lead you deeper into Relaxation and Silence. Pause and take some deep breathes, being conscious of breathing in Universal Life Energy. Let compassion for yourself, lead to compassion for others and for all Beings. And in this practice you can release, release and rise in consciousness above temptation into Love, Peace and Joy.

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

“We should try to eliminate the undesirable traits of our subconsciousness by becoming conscious through living FourSquare. It is a stupendous task for the whole of Humanity.”

Kinda of ordinary to extraordinary…Brilliant help!

Each one of can become extraordinary, change our health, gene activation, and even DNA!

Change starts in the mind ….

It’s as simple as changing our habitual thoughts and emotions. Memories, along with thoughts and emotions accumulate and grow in the subconscious and body unnoticed. But these energies eventually return to our awareness.

If we unconsciously carry any trauma like abuse experienced during childhood into adulthood … we may wake up in the mornings feeling some anxiety, not knowing why. Or it may manifest in our bodies causing dis-ease.

For years I’ve experienced feelings of not belonging in this world, not knowing why until I began exploring my emotions and feelings. As children we are naive and weren’t consciously mature or educated to release negative emotions, like guilt, fear or anger.

With these emotions buried they may resurface, warped into feelings of anxiety, resentment, sadness, insecurity, and jealousy. As we repeat thoughts and feelings our brain becomes wired with pathways …. we’ve become conditioned and familiar with the habit.

We stick with the familiar even when it is not best for us. There may be some change …. because life is constant change …. but usually very familiar change.

A shift can happen when we release the past and move our thinking and emotions into the present moment.

Our emotions are key to change

The good news is that changing our mind is easier than we are led to believe. It may feel uncomfortable, but that is only because we will be moving out of the familiar.

It’s simple

First thing is to become aware of your state of mind in the moment. Become conscious of your thoughts and feelings. Especially your feelings. Why? Because feelings point to emotions, which are key!

Here comes the unfamiliar part ….. once you recognize a bothersome feeing like jealousy ….. just notice it …… without getting involved it it. Let it pass you by.

And consciously choose uplifting thoughts of optimism, generosity, understanding and compassion.

This may initially feel uncomfortable, yet with practice it begins to feel natural ….. because states of optimism, trust, serenity and lovingness is your innate nature. And these energies eventually manifest in the body’s cells and in your health.

There’s brilliant help!

You always have the help of the Eternal and can easily contact that harmonizing Source by making the Mental Contact with Universal Life Energy. It is ubiquitous and functions that way, harmonizing body and mind.

I make the Mental Contact when I notice uncomfortable feelings to help me observe without getting involved, and then reach for higher levels of consciousness like Courage, Trust and Love.

During meditation you may further explore feelings to get to base emotions, or memories, so they might be released to The Great Principle. And you can focus on consciously choosing to be accepting and loving.

Delirium while seeking Inner Peace

Photo PSLB

We all suffer, and for those of us on a conscious spiritual journey we may suffer emotionally more than anything. As we travel along gaining more and more experiences, there is the process of learning from our mistakes. And this can cause the greatest emotional suffering, yet it is part of the human growth process. The good news is that we can rise above it.

There are egotistic challenges …

Like guilt, self-righteousness, pride and frustration. Impatience is one that I repeat and I suffer emotionally from with guilt, resentment and even self hatred. Sometimes it seems to be an endless dark, painful tunnel of different negative traits! Yet there is Light of hope and inspiration to continue to fight for Freedom.

One thing egotistic challenges teach us is to be more conscious, alert and aware of temptations that surface. And that they should be faced, rather than pushed down again only to resurface stronger than ever. Better to face and release now than let them fester and grow.

And if we ignore feelings and dealing with trauma and traits that may have initially happened in childhood, we cause ourselves more trauma unknowingly. In childhood if we didn’t have help with trauma, we probably suppressed our emotions, which grew unnoticed. We were naive.

So when we become stressed in our daily life; feeling bothersome feelings like anxiety we may try to soothe or numb ourselves by looking for comfort in overindulgence in unhelpful matters, like over eating, porn, drugs.

Better to face negative emotions and past memories of trauma, rather than continuing to be naive, so we can come to the present moment fully. And feel the uncomfortable emotions and consciously choose to let them go ….. then embrace those emotions that are uplifting. It’s our choice, after all!

The fight for Freedom

Some may encourage us to be humble and forgiving to overcome negative traits, Yet, humility haves connotations and definitions of lowliness and unworthiness. Forgiveness has connotations and definitions of indulging in excuses for wrong doing, or ignoring negativity.

I’ve found that being accepting and compassionate are fitting and accurate. When we can accept our and others egotistic fallibilities as being human we can give up, that is release, the obsession with “being right!”

Self-honesty requires courage. And courage lifts us consciously; it helps us recognize negative patterns of resentment and condemnation without getting all involved and stuck, then feeling guilty about it.

We can be compassionate, see our human fallibility and be willing to do something about it, by releasing it, letting it pass us by. This is being lead by Unconditional Love.

We may initially feel the pain of an egotistic trait or traumatic memory. In fact the pain points to what needs awareness and healing. Sure, self defensiveness may creep up too!

Yet, those egotistic constricts are released when we let them pass us by. And we are able to rise above the pain into understanding, optimism and gratitude.

I become so grateful for becoming aware of different painful emotions …. temptations that where under the surface and have been around a long, long time stemming from childhood trauma.

We can face dark memories and emotions stemming from trauma and be protected. You have the help, and we all do, of The Great Law through Higher Consciousness, with Universal Life Energy as the constant inspiring Source of Power and Unconditional Love. Such Love is our True protection. We merely have to be compassionate and willing to make the Mental Contact with Universal Life Energy.

Rise above

It seems obvious that with more self-honesty and release of negative temptations we become less vulnerable to self condemnation and creating more trauma of fearful traits of feeling like a victim, self-hatred and escape-ism.

With acceptance, compassion and release we rise above the emotional pain. And with gracious and compassionate attitudes like alert awareness and optimistic gratitude, we can rise in consciousness.

We can align with our natural state of happiness, Joy, Love and Harmony. Yet, we must be brave!

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

“Superconsciousness, as the connecting link between the humanly conscious You and the complete real YOU, will be definitely assigned its place in your comprehension.”

Crazy thoughts when trying to find Silence? It’s easy to deceive, Part 3

Most of us can relate to feeling assaulted by crazy thoughts especially when we are on a conscious spiritual journey, trying to observe and know ourselves. It is so contrary to being in Presence, living in the present moment with silent alertness.

As an observer we can be very affected by what we bring with us, like expectations, interest, familiarity, and beliefs discussed in Part 1 and Part 2. And our perceptions as a witness can also become defective because of other factors. Yet we can rise above them.

Drama

Our emotions affect our perceptions. Being in lower levels of consciousness with fear related emotions makes observations unrealistic and untrustworthy.

If we are stressed out and fearful then our inner observations can be very swayed and even perverted. Guilt can lead to self-ridicule, anger to lying, arrogance to domination. Plus, these emotions can circle around unconsciously and surface as irresponsible choices.

The ego feeds on drama! And this is why in self-observation we quiet the thinking mind, the hurt, the sorrow, the resentment, and come into the present moment, entering the Silence.

We can feel the Presence of something greater than ourselves as we make the Mental Contact. In this state you become an unattached observer, and can courageously observe the good, the bad and the ugly without attachment to emotions like self-pity, regret or despair. You can observe that fearful temptations are just temporary, illusionary and irresponsible choices.

When you make the Mental Contact, you are in Authentic Power and guided to make responsible choices that are rooted in Love, helping you deliberately choose uplifting thoughts and emotions like Optimism, Transcendence and Gratitude. You can observe that these are your natural state which benefit yourself and everyone.

Physical Conditions

Most of us know that if we are tired, sick or short of breath it can affect our perceptions. Things become blurred, out of focus and even seem impossible to give attention to.

That’s when it’s critical to relax. Pause, take a deep breath and you will automatically begin to relax when you allow yourself to. It may take a few minutes, but the body will respond dispersing beneficial hormones.

Remember that wellbeing is natural for you. Relax and allow communication between your body and Source, making the contact with Source Energy, Universal Life Energy. Willingly open yourself. Feel It and Trust It.

Contrary to the way the ego sees it, any discomfort points to where we should give attention to. Physical discomfort points to emotional discomfort. Allow yourself to observe discomforts and temptations in an unattached state of silence.

We don’t necessarily need to know the cause of disquieting thoughts and emotions. That desire to know is a push from the ego. We are creatures of habitual thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and we resist living in the present moment …… in Presence.

Empower yourself by making a decision to focus on the Light of Source Energy in the present moment. Purposefully reach for higher levels of consciousness and emotions like acceptance, tenderness and compassion. This opens us to more Life Energy for healing, growth, Inner Joy and Peace.

And remember it can take some time for the billions of cells in your body to align with your natural wellbeing.
