Retained Love
Snowy white summer lace
Speaks of the reflections of memories past;
Sweet embraces and a tender trace
of exquisite boundless Love, unsurpassed.

This week I took a walk along the lake in the mountains and came across some beautiful wildflowers. Queen Anne’s Lace was growing along the edge with some hanging over the water. And, next to some catstail were some green ones, not having turned white as yet. Beautiful!
I hope you enjoy them as much I as do and feel the wonderful waves of summer for those of you in the northern hemisphere!

So beautiful! My late husband loves wild flowers and was a great photographer, he took allot of Queens Ann’s Lace pictures, the folklore says there is a red drop in the center that is there because Queen Ann pricked her finger with her needle,,, that’s how you tell if it’s the real deal!
Thank you for sharing!
As authentic as we each are, Queen Ann’s Lace reminds me that uniqueness is as exquisite as a snowflake except we get to hold it, twirl it, and arrange just right in a vase..Your access to such wondrous beauty is indeed a blessing…and I’m happy for you…and am grateful to have seen the photograph…
I didn’t know cat tails are white first :-).
Beautiful!
