Observe Your Reactions to Others
Most of us unknowingly carry around illusionary and fearful subconscious baggage in the ego like jealousy, guilt and resentment. Those traits can urge us to react impulsively without logic, especially when we are in the presence of another person spouting negative energy as in anger, hatred, and self-righteousness.

Observing our reactions to others gives us great insight about ourselves!  If we do react to the emotions of another person and project fearful energy like anger, it most likely is because we carry a similar trait in our subconscious and personality.  Due the Law of Attraction, like attracts like energy is drawn out – and we choose to express it.

A negative reaction to other people’s ego will hurt us because what we put out there in the universe eventually returns to us increased. It boomerangs, coming back to us, attracting more negative energy! And, we don’t realize what’s happened – that we caused our own unhappiness.

No one can make us mad, sad or lonely. We may want to blame others for feeling wronged and dejected, yet we are responsible for our own emotional being. Anger, self-righteousness, loneliness, hurt and other negative egotistic traits are false beliefs about ourselves rather than about another person.

We have created personalities that carry around fear, pride, impatience and ignorance, and we create our reality with those thoughts and emotions. Yet, we always have a choice and free will. And, responding with high-frequency, loving energy to others, even if they exhibit negative traits, creates our own happiness. Plus, it may help the one that we may be tempted to negatively react to.

Those character qualities that are considerate and peaceful don’t need

your conscious adjustment, only more frequent activation!

It is of the greatest benefit to be conscious of your thoughts and emotions when interacting with anyone because only you can do the real mental work to release subconscious beliefs about yourself, transcend the subconscious ego, and create your happiness.

With the help of the Great Law we will continue transcending the ego next time with steps to take to release false beliefs about ourselves.

If you feel like you have to analyze things to death,

then that’s the point – to kill off negative traits. It’s a good thing!

In the meantime consider this quote to reflect upon:

“When Jesus said: ‘Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow will take thought for the things of itself; sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof,’ He meant that we must NOW do the right thing and then the Future will take care of itself because of the law.”

Eugene Fersen, Science of Being, p. 220.
