Transforming yourself for Justice

you are designed for success

This is the 200th posting! Thank You for going on this Spiritual Journey with me. I hope you have come to know yourself a bit better. I know I have. Kindly continue making comments and sharing – it helps more than you may know.

With the help of the Great Principle we will become more conscious of our True selves everyday as we continue our Soul journey.

In the past I fought against injustice and allowed myself to be fully indignant and angry. I’ve gotten my heart stomped on and my ass handed back to me. It just plain hurt. Though I am unapologetic about the animosity and protest, I have come to some discernment concerning injustice and how to fight.

Transforming your fight is transforming yourself

My first instinct when facing injustice is to fight. Fight or flight. When we choose to fight, we should learn to fight without hatred.

I have learned that the most courageous thing to do in the face of injustice is to fight for Harmony within yourself first …. in this human reality.

Be courageous. The Great Principle is here to support You. And all the harmonious powers in the Universe.

When you establish harmony and peace within yourself it becomes a chain reaction. Naturally more harmonious people are drawn to you and the Universe helps create more harmonious conditions.

Fight for Harmony

It’s a fight for rather than a fight against. Fear, self-righteousness and hate motivates fighting against. Hate and fear accumulates and this doesn’t lead to justice. Lots of drama though!

You can see the evidence of hatred in the faces of those beings that angrily fight and protest. They aim to destroy, when they say they want better.

Most of humanity is miserable

Humans must grow and evolve into Being, without fear of facing ourselves. The fight and protests against injustice will eventually die or transmute into something different. Into a form of cooperation to build justice, authenticity and freedom in every situation we face.

It’s logical that we have to begin by sincerely looking within ourselves without all the drama.

What does the fight for justice look like?

Building justice requires harmony in the present moment. Currently the human fight for Justice looks like the little girl that says, “Daddy we should pray for the lady.”

It looks like the wisdom of Friends of Humanity. Friends like Tolle, Pema Chodron, Mother Teresa, Wayne Dryer, Dali Lama. And all those that are lead by unconditional Love …like You.

It looks like the teachings of Science of Being.

It looks like this moment.

Harmony is Now

You are a tool of the Universe for co-creating harmony in our human reality. The subconscious ego believes it is difficult to achieve harmony  when it is easy – you already are harmonious within.

Yet, you must look within and find it. Then bring it to the surface of your life. Put harmony out in your actions, letting it touch others.

How can you manifest harmony now?

  • By being in the flow of the moment without resistance. This moment is Harmony, the Absolute and You are one with It.
  • By being strong – standing up looking in the eyes of injustice, fear and hatred with calm compassion.
  • By being intelligent – assuming is unreasonable, blind believing is ignorance and hatred is insanity – use reason, common sense and listen to your intuition and Heart.
  • By being a dare and doer in Truth – being honest and caring without throwing pearls before swine.
  • By being Loving – being considerate, kind, gentle, and open to the wisdom of your Heart, letting Love lead you.
  • By acting, being motivated by Love – Do as you are guided by your Soul and unconditional Love to manifest harmony in reality.

When I am tempted to feel resentful in the face of injustice I ask:

  • Why do I feel justified about complaining?
  • Why do I feel resentful and impatient?
  • Do I experience Harmony within me even in the mist of injustice, when I am falsely accused, when I am disrespected, abused, rejected, hated or unloved by others?

I also remember that injustices and ‘me too’ is the human reality, yet the Universal reality is ‘I.’

“I am an Individualized Ray of the Source. I am Strong, Wise, Free and Loving. I am Spirit and Matter, One in the protection of the Great All.”

“The fire of hatred is like an ordinary fire. If known in time it can be extinguished. No emotion ever starts in full force. With human hatred, if we do not stop it, it makes us lose our self. It will never stop by itself.”

Unexpected help in the Creative Fire!

It’s no wonder that we occasionally feel like there’s something seriously wrong with us. We can become obsessed with seeing the wrong in the world, in politics, in religion, and within ourselves, so we fight against it. What we don’t usually realize is that when we fight against something we empower it.

The inner continuous battle between our subconscious ego and conscious self can be difficult. If you are aware of having a heart that sees and feels the truth: choose to fight for your conscious self rather than fighting against the ego.

The child in us is vulnerable

When we fight against our ego it will do whatever it takes to be superior, to protect itself from loosing its power and influence over our conscious self, our thinking and emotions. We empower the opposition because of the Law of Polarity. And, we end up hurting ourselves anyway because of the Law of Unity and Law of Attraction.

For example, fighting back when you are criticized. The ego wants to be superior and you can get lost in it, following your thoughts to anger, sadness or even depression. The child in us is shocked and hurt, and that hurt goes into our body. We assume and believe those thoughts are a part ourselves. You can end up mad and resentful, and later even  hating yourself, thinking there is something wrong with you, feeling like you’re not good enough.

The ego supports and keeps us in such holding patterns of thinking. It becomes an addiction for us, but we don’t realize it is an addiction. We can’t seem to control it and we condemn ourselves, thinking our spiritual practice doesn’t help.

Fight for instead of against

When we fight for our conscious self we are fighting to know our authentic self, our presence, our Being. We empower our conscious self.

Observe the temptations of the ego to get angry and resentful without attachment. Consider listening to criticism and use it for constructive improvement. You remain conscious without following a train of thought of angry retaliation in self-righteousness or of inferiority. Maybe you are even fascinated by these fearful thoughts. Instead, just observe and let thoughts float in a stream, getting further away until they are gone.

I am grateful for my awareness of fearful thoughts and feelings because it has stirred me to awaken to the way the ego will exert its influence to dominate my awareness and reality.

And, it can awaken you to something more – to the spirit of your inner Being. Your energy. That creative fire within that changes your awareness of your Self and creates a revolution, and evolution of change.

You become conscious of freedom. Freedom from the ego. Freedom from the pain of hurt feelings, from retaliation, self-righteousness or inferiority. You are raising above the ego and You are reaching into higher realms of understanding. You are recognizing I am That. You are present as a soul in a body,  Self-conscious of being.

A step beyond

Consider adding another step to your realization and consciously fight to be one with Harmony, to align your conscious being with spirit. Say, feel and be conscious of something like: I am One with All Life, Intelligence, Truth, Love, Spirit. I am a ray of the Eternal manifesting all the same powers.  I am That. You will receive unexpected help.

There’s something right with You!

3 surprising self-defeating patterns you may not recognize, and one is wanting enlightenment!

1. Being a nice person!

You may disagree with this. I did in my earlier years!

My spiritual teacher helped me spot my ego creating a persona of a nice person, but below the surface I was in a conditioned state of fear of being unacceptable and disliked, rather than truly being conscious of myself, others or circumstances. On some level the nice person self-concept I had created was a means of self protection, but I was also afraid that I was unlovable!

We can create a nice person persona to hide behind, but we can end up discrediting ourselves because we think we are not good enough. In fear we can get fixed and stay in that condition state, closing our hearts and trapping our minds!

The easiest way that I know to open our hearts and minds is to be sincere. Truly sincere. And when we feel truly sincere within then we will project sincerity in our attitudes and behaviors. It may not always appear nice, because we may not give a dollar to those looking for a handout or stop traffic to let another car cross over the lanes at a heavy intersection. But we will be loving, kind, and have an attitude of goodwill because sincerity opens us to our heart and the Love within.

2. Pursuing happiness.

It can be inspiring to have something to look forward to, but when it comes to desiring happiness, if we are always pursuing happiness that is all we will do – pursue. For most of us, even when we do achieve happiness, it is fleeting. We set new goals and are in desire mode again, looking for happiness. Happiness is always in the future. We don’t enjoy the moment.

This can also true of pursuing enlightenment. Until we release the mental concept of enlightenment being something in the future, something separate from our physical and mystical life now, then we will always be pursing enlightenment.

Realizing the condition of the human mind helps free us, enlightens us. The heart does. We become the observer of the thinker, bringing us out of the subconscious ego into a higher consciousness.  We  can relax in silence and release desire, desire for happiness, and even enlightenment.

When we live in the higher aspects of our heart rather than our mind we can just Be. Be in peace. Be in Love. Be in a higher consciousness.

3. Pushing a little too hard.

It’s a no pain, no gain attitude! When we become ‘true’ believers in the rightness of our way, then the opposition is energized. We push, complain and protest being motivated by fear and a feeling of powerlessness. We become the cause behind the opposition!

And, in our self-righteousness we can become stuck in that energy. We end up experiencing loathing from within ourselves and from others. And, we can judge ourselves, our ideals and our spiritual journey harshly.

The Law of Polarity or duality, as the human mind perceives it, pushes back hard in the opposite direction of our desire. We humanly perceive the Law of Polarity as opposition  rather than a blending of energies and the compassion of the universe awakening us to our conditioning and concepts.

When I face opposition, I think of it as the ego’s perception of duality and that all energies blend. It is an indication that it is an opportunity to realize “I am” strong, intelligent, sincere, loving and most of all One with the Source, the Great All.

Consider taking the middle road without getting attached to any ‘one’ way. Listening to my intuition has lead me to depths and heights I never expected! In silence you can feel that your intuition it is a reflection from your heart! And, the higher energies of your heart are lead by Love.

When you want to do something harmoniously from your heart say and feel, “With the help of the Great Principle I will.”

What Kind of Love?

cafe 4

sitting in the café, listening to the music
drinking sweet chai tea and waiting for You
I think of the lyrics and what they mean
“I will always love You.”

the voice rises so high and so beautiful
feeling so sad and blue

I will always love you
I You
I Will always Love
I Will always
I Will
I

what kind of Love is this?

What They’re Not Telling, Part 2

Mind Soul Statements

We may not know what is going on in a newborn’s fuzzy little head, but if you can read their analogy they communicate soul to soul. They express emotions, display mental sensory awareness and new research is showing that they even display some level of self-consciousness. Their mental condition points the way to our own mental condition and transformation to Enlightened Mind.

Soul and Mind

Consciousness
Newborns have a fully functioning Mind, but with a new brain they have to acquire knowledge and consciously learn through their senses. They feel gentle kisses on their little faces, hear our coos of love and encouragement, taste mother’s milk, smell the scent of her and even try to focus their eyes.

They are like a mental sponge, absorbing knowledge at an amazing rate. They naturally live in the moment, synchronizing mind and body. They feel pain, but apparently do not fear it.

Somewhere along the way to becoming an adult, we’ve forgotten what comes naturally to newborns. We’ve become resistant to change, reluctant to learn anything new, experience fear, and forget to live in the moment. Yes, we are now more self-conscious, which is the idea of “I think, therefore, I am.” But, we’ve gotten so wrapped-up in our busy life and demands of civilization that we neglect trying to know our inner self and soul, which is essential to realizing our connection to and support of the Eternal “I AM,”  and our very realistic happiness now.

Subconsciousness
It is true that newborns exhibit obvious signs of mental inefficiencies like nescience and emotional subconscious traits like impatience, but they also have an aura of Love about them. They incarnated to earth physically helpless, trusting and having faith in the Eternal to provide means to grow into a better, freer condition. That trust is made real and material through us, their caretakers. It’s an amazing privilege  for us.

It is a common practice in hospitals for preemies to be held for periods of time on a care taker’s chest with skin contact. They hear the heart beat, feel the charge and aura of love of another soul.

The heart is our seat of Love and this therapy nurtures them through the Law of Attraction and Law of Vibration. Newborns need care and love in order to flourish, giving us a great opportunity to personate unconditionally love and compassion as representatives of the Great Principle on earth.

Allowing Enlightened Mind
Being self-conscious of unconditional Love and compassion is allowing an Enlightened Mind. We live in the momentkeeping to the main issues without getting lost in details. We listen to the voice of Inspiration (‘I am’), having faith and trust in our connection with and support of ‘I AM,’ the Great Principle. And thus, by allowing Enlightened Mind we make responsible choices to not only help newborns, but also to help all of us achieve all that we can in this life.

With the help of the Great Law in the next posting we will examine what newborns are not telling us about Truth and Law (yet they are)!

Until then consider this quote to reflect upon:

“TO LIVE INTELLIGENTLY MEANS TO GIVE TO EACH PERSON AND TO EACH THING THEIR PROPER PLACE,  to keep one’s judgment clear and try to judge as impartially as possible.”
