There is a legend that when the European explorers first came to the Caribbean around 1491 the islanders could not see the sails of the ships as they were approaching. It wasn’t until the shamans pointed them out that they could conceive of them.

Karmic Vision

We tend to only to see what we believe we will see …. what we  have conditioned ourselves to experience …. what we allow! Have you traveled the same route routinely day after day and passed a billboard or building and never noticed it …. I have and not until I became quiet inside …. did I appreciate the outside … did I appreciate the trees, grasses, wildlife, and yes …. buildings and billboards!

We’re creatures of habit …. even our perceptions of the world around us can become habitual …. we may notice a  tree …. but miss the hawk sitting on a bare branch. We may may read words on the computer screen but overlook words that were repeated or mentally fill in words that missing. We can walk right past someone we know without noticing them. We can feel energies swirling around others, but not see thought-forms around them or their auras!

We can clear our Vision

We form karmic vision out of habit and the Law of Attraction. We tend to get stuck in illusionary thoughts and emotions attracting more of the same …. without being aware of the moment or even that we have a choice! Fortunately, someone else’s awareness can shake us awake and point to that thing we did not allow ourselves to see. But …. we must become quiet and peaceful within to have clear vision in the moment.  

We forget to be conscious, quiet, open to the vastness of a clear state of mind, free of the domination of subconscious ego thoughts and emotions that have become habits …. of what we expect and relate to …. of what we are comfortable with.

We don’t know what we are missing …. what’s right there within our reach of experiencing in the moment …. because we are too preoccupied. And I can say that most of us miss opportunities to experience wonders that are there on the edge of our awareness …. if  …. we are calm, conscious, alert and aware.

Even if someone else points to seeing something that we do not …. we still may not be able to see it! Is it logical that we must go within ourselves first to clear karmic, habitual vision?  And then … be consciously willing and open to seeing that which we had not been open to?

When we allow the moment as it is …. quiet, ….alert, aware and observing what is …. thoughts of the past or future are silent. There are no worries, expectations or any habitual monkey chatter …. we do not assume from habit …. rather we observe independently. And this is when we can come to know ourselves and trust the moment …. all the while knowing we live in uncertain, ever changing moments. Our vision becomes clearer, taking in what is …. appreciating Now. 

We become independent observers …. without blindly assuming what we are told to see or experience. Life becomes an adventure in the very mist of uncertainty …. and ….we can be soooo surprised by what comes within our field of vision! Within our field of awareness, experience, understanding and have compassion for it! 

And clear vision is a great asset since we are not limited by blinding karmic vision. And from clear vision horizons open before us unlimited opportunities to be of service in the world!

Karmic Emotions – Power of Emotion to Change Your Life, Part 4

Your emotions, attitudes and moods are seeds, physical energies, in your psycho-physical system that grow into your reality, determining the flavor, form and style. However, you can create in undesirable, karmic patterns over and over unconsciously! 

Our Inner Being is naturally enthusiastic, adventurous, happy and loving …. however the subconscious ego has dominated us for so long we have come to believe that such emotions as self-doubt, anxiety, insecurity and guilt are normal moods for us!

Overcoming karmic emotional patterns concern managing negative moods! 

Emotional karmic cycles

Believing our so called bad habits exist because of negative karma is like slamming the prison door closed with you on the inside! Fortunately, the Laws of Cause and Effect, Karma and Law of Rhythm are compassionate laws to help us come into our Soul. 

Negative emotional karma is when we cycle over and over in disadvantageous emotional patternsFor example, if you think of a past mistake you made with someone, you may relive the mistake in your memory over and over. Emotionally you may feel guilty and behave from guilt, and it can become a habitual emotional behavior …. even part of your personality

It’s an example of how our emotions in the present may be an effect of the past! …. And a magnetic to attract more of the same energies leading into the future! And even more interesting …. we can attempt to analyze our emotions and behaviors of the past by reliving them in our memory and end up circling in those energies, feeling worse!

Law of Attraction

Law of Cause and Effect (Karma) and Law of Rhythm cycles

Negative Karmic Cycle
Harsh Judgment → Fearful Emotion acts like a magnetic (such as guilt or anger) → Unconscious Temptation of Fearful Behavior → Subconscious Behavior (like lying or violence) → Illusion or Pain Effect becomes a cause for another cycle (like regret or physical injury) → Harsh  Judgment →  ….

Becoming a slave to karmic cycles of subconscious emotions like guilt, shame or self-doubt can lead us to regularly procrastinate, fly off the handle, impulsive eat, or watch daily doses of porn… and attract more of the same energies …. leading to more disruptive behaviors! 

Clearing Our Emotions

When we are tempted to fall into undesirable emotional habits it’s a sign post …. an opportunity to release them. It’s not what I would call our conscience at work because it is not a inhibiting sense. It is our conscious awareness cohering with our Spiritual Heart and …. all the encouraging energies of Enthusiasm, Intelligence, Accuracy and Love of our Soul.

I’ve learned to become very attentive to temptations because …. they trigger such strong emotions. That’s when I pause …. and go silent within. I consciously contact Universal Life Energy and let it flow into my body, mind and emotions, which uplifts me further …. and I am able to listen to my Inner Being and intuition.

That’s when …. discrimination kicks into my thinking and I’m moved …. to release the temptation. It’s so liberating and I feel so grateful and appreciative. I am also usually given some insight and inspiration …. on how to proceed. And it frees me to move into a behavior without …. the burden of anger, guilt, worry or other fearful emotions. 

Therefore, whenever you become conscious of an undesirable emotion consider it an opportunity …. to reinvent yourself bit by bit! 

Attracting uplifting energies!

Law of Attraction

Law of Cause and Effect (Karma) and Law of Rhythm cycles

Conscious Discrimination → Inner Emotional Awareness → Temptation of  Fearful Behavior→ Conscious of FourSquare Soul Powers → Gratitude → Release of Temptation → Appreciation of the Present Moment →
Discriminating Behavior …. Emotional Awareness ….

We can allow uplifting emotions for ourselves by aligning with those of our Inner Being! … And attract more of the same uplifting energies to carry into the future!

Daily visualization/meditation can bring us into the present moment and allow mind to cohere with heart.…. mind cohere to Love …. Joy, Trust, Appreciation and Gratitude. All uplifting emotional energies. Consider: Regaining Harmony & Living a Conscious Heart.

It is that Power of Love that leads us into transforming ourselves.

Unexpected help in the Creative Fire!

It’s no wonder that we occasionally feel like there’s something seriously wrong with us. We can become obsessed with seeing the wrong in the world, in politics, in religion, and within ourselves, so we fight against it. What we don’t usually realize is that when we fight against something we empower it.

The inner continuous battle between our subconscious ego and conscious self can be difficult. If you are aware of having a heart that sees and feels the truth: choose to fight for your conscious self rather than fighting against the ego.

The child in us is vulnerable 

When we fight against our ego it will do whatever it takes to be superior, to protect itself from loosing its power and influence over our conscious self, our thinking and emotions. We empower the opposition because of the Law of Polarity. And, we end up hurting ourselves anyway because of the Law of Unity and Law of Attraction.

For example, fighting back when you are criticized. The ego wants to be superior and you can get lost in it, following your thoughts to anger, sadness or even depression. The child in us is shocked and hurt, and that hurt goes into our body. We assume and believe those thoughts are a part ourselves. You can end up mad and resentful, and later even  hating yourself, thinking there is something wrong with you, feeling like you’re not good enough. 

The ego supports and keeps us in such holding patterns of thinking. It becomes an addiction for us, but we don’t realize it is an addiction. We can’t seem to control it and we condemn ourselves, thinking our spiritual practice doesn’t help. 

Fight for instead of against

When we fight for our conscious self we are fighting to know our authentic self, our presence, our Being. We empower our conscious self.

Observe the temptations of the ego to get angry and resentful without attachment. Consider listening to criticism and use it for constructive improvement. You remain conscious without following a train of thought of angry retaliation in self-righteousness or of inferiority. Maybe you are even fascinated by these fearful thoughts. Instead, just observe and let thoughts float in a stream, getting further away until they are gone.  

I am grateful for my awareness of fearful thoughts and feelings because it has stirred me to awaken to the way the ego will exert its influence to dominate my awareness and reality.

And, it can awaken you to something more – to the spirit of your inner Being. Your energy. That creative fire within that changes your awareness of your Self and creates a revolution, and evolution of change. 

You become conscious of freedom. Freedom from the ego. Freedom from the pain of hurt feelings, from retaliation, self-righteousness or inferiority. You are raising above the ego and You are reaching into higher realms of understanding. You are recognizing I am That. You are present as a soul in a body,  Self-conscious of being. 

A step beyond 

Consider adding another step to your realization and consciously fight to be one with Harmony, to align your conscious being with spirit. Say, feel and be conscious of something like: I am One with All Life, Intelligence, Truth, Love, Spirit. I am a ray of the Eternal manifesting all the same powers.  I am That. You will receive unexpected help.

In order for us to truly understand and know ourselves, we open ourselves, our thinking consciousness to the tenderness of our heart and Love. We heal ourselves because we become whole again – Mind and Love – recombine. Masculine Mind and Feminine Love energies freely flow together.

The heart knows, yet the brain forgot we are so beautiful and are at Home in unconditional Love. That frequency of Home is so close to us, yet to far away in our thinking because we have forgotten who we are and where we belong as souls.

In this creation of our earthly time we quest to Know who we are because some part of us knows we come from a realm of Harmony. We are of the realm of Harmony. We quest to feel the Truth and return to Harmony.

From our human mind we create opportunities for us to evolve step by step, even as we continue to forget what we quest for and suffer the consequences of our mental separation and behaviors.

Use Your Nightmares to Realize Your Happiness, The Power of Emotions to Change Your Life Part 9

It’s the worst kind of nightmare, jotting wide awake, with heart pounding, scared near to death and out of breath nightmare. The one that causes you to carry around this terrible dread all day long after. That’s the nightmare, or any bad dream, that can help you realize your happiness!

Why Nightmares?

The base of a nightmare is subconscious fear surfacing to consciousness. It’s bringing something to our attention, some issue that needs to be addressed. Or reoccurring dreams may be about something we are anticipating or have to make a decision about. Nevertheless, they are about issues to address.

Post-traumatic nightmares that are repeated may be the subconscious recycling in the trauma and we are being re-traumatized, even though the event is unlikely to reoccur. Through nightmares we are becoming conscious of fears that’s been stuck in the subconscious, circling causing us to suffer emotionally and even physically since emotions are such a powerful force in our reality. The consciousness is giving us an opportunity to realize self-autonomy and self-determination, rather than being a slave to the ego.

Types of Dreams?

I’ve had what felt like post-traumatic dreams from a past-life experience; a remembrance of that reality. The dream gave me insights to questions I’d had about a situation and relationship. It doesn’t matter if the dream was truly a remembrance of a past-life or not, and it is not something that I know happened. Yet it was beneficial in that it gave me some insight about my attitude stuck in the subconscious concerning  another person, and from that insight came compassion for us both and our relationship was harmonized. 

There are many types of dreams and nightmares, which occur for many different reasons. There may be medical reasons for night terrors, such as illnesses or medications or there may be deep psychological reasons, for which we should consult medical professionals. Yet for most of us, our nightmares are pointing out issues to address. Of course, those issues may come through symbolism, in which case dream interpretation can become a means of self-analysis. 

Analyzing your dreams

There are many dream interpretation websites and books available to help those that are not familiar with symbolism in dreams. The two references I use are: In Your Dreams, The Ultimate Dream Dictionary by Mary Summer Rain and Dreams, Your Magic Mirror with Interpretations by Edgar Cayce by Elsie Sechrist.

Yet, the information on the websites and in books is only a guideline for possible interpretation of your dreams. Everyone is different. A nightmare with a snake may symbolize an attack or retaliation to you, while it may symbolize wisdom to someone else, and temptation to another. 

Over time you will come to know how to piece together the key elements in your dreams and their representation. Consider keeping a dream journal near your bedside to write down your dreams as soon as you awaken, since the subconscious also likes to forget. We start thinking about our day and our dreams fade away.  

What to do about a Nightmare

If you can use your dream to solve an issue with conflict thinking within yourself then all the better for you to make a decision and draw to yourself what you need to enact it by your positive energy, thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

For those nightmares in which there is no logical resolve then visualization can help bring you into positive emotions. In a silent and reflective state visualize a positive and empowering outcome of the dream. You are putting positive energy back into the subconscious with your thoughts and emotions to change your attitude, empowering yourself to create a happier reality. 

Another practice to consider that I do is just before you fall asleep is to make positive I am Declarations of Truth. This sets the tone and frequency of our thinking before going unconscious. Sleeping is beneficial for us in this stage of our evolution because the body uses it to regenerate since it is in a relaxed state, releasing stress. 

Think of Air as Power. Breathe deep and take the Star position in bed, consciously contacting Universal Life Energy. Universal Life Energy is the first physical manifestation of the Eternal, connecting you with All Power, All Intelligence, All Truth, All Love and All Harmony. Consider an I am Declaration of Truth. The one below is taught in Science of Being:  

Father, thou art inspiring me on the Spiritual plane. Guiding me on the Mental plane. Sustaining and protecting me on the Physical plane. I am an individualized projection into thy own Eternal substance. Proceeding from and indissolubly connected with thee, manifesting all the same qualities and powers. Thank You.

Living in the moment

Sometimes we do things we are not proud of, and it troubles us, which can go into our subconscious to grow and cause us to have nightmares or effects our behaviors without knowing why we act the way we do. Or we experience something that troubles us. And, it could have happened long ago, even when we were a child. Your consciousness can retrieve the images from nightmares and dreams and use it to release negative energy. 

We can choose to be happy rather than carry around fear through the methods described above and those in other entries (specifically as described in the series Releasing False Beliefs about Yourself and Gaining Control over Negative Emotions).

The best thing we can do for ourselves is to live  in the moment being lead by unconditional Love, releasing egotistic temptations.

This May Sting!

Okay, you may not like this entry, or at least the ego may not. It can sting.

Most of us are dissatisfied with who we are or the way we are. We don’t trust ourselves, and even think we’re a terrible person at times. We’re also impatient in our dissatisfaction, but we’ve got our pride. We cannot change into something different, transcend this unwanted personality  until we get a good look at it. 

The personality is primarily created by the subconscious ego. We allow ourselves to be dominated by the ego which is self-serving, fearful and dualistic. We create a troubled reality because of it.

To regain control over our lives, our personality and create a more positive reality, we must be mindful and conscious in the moment – in a state of consciousness that we take responsibility for. But, the ego doesn’t want us to be conscious, mindful, or listen to our intuition and discriminate – it’s self-centered like that! We battle our conscience. It’s a vicious cycle. 

How Did We Get Here?

The subconscious is our storage box of memories, thoughts, desires, and habitual emotional traits like fear, doubt, worry, loneliness, shame, and resentment. We’ve been conditioned to follow its dictates. It is a major factor in shaping our personality, or parts thereof, that we are dissatisfied with. We identify ourselves with subconscious traits and emotionally empower them as behaviors! “I’m mad, I’m lonely, I’m ashamed.” 

The ego lacks discrimination and supports ignorance. After centuries of history repeating itself we should be able to see the truth in that. We don’t know ourselves. But, we must know ourselves in order to free ourselves of those parts that cause us pain and suffering.

Our personality, our reality, is something we created and agreed to. Fortunately, even from the darkness of the subconscious ego, it is our destiny to evolve and harmonize ourselves and become fully empowered. 

Conscious Intent in Action!

It is our deepest desire and hope to align our personality with our soul. As we courageously make a conscious intent and live the qualities of love like consideration, kindness and caring we bit by bit gain control of our life, transforming our personality. As we consciously release negative egotistic traits we integrate personality and soul, becoming beings of Light here on earth. We transform our reality. 

We may still experience pain, because we all suffer, but our inner happiness, peace and joy are not dependent on it. 

The ego dislikes such information, but I hope you got a smile out of it!

Emotional Seduction! The Power of Emotion to Change Your Life, Part 6

Emotional Seduction!

A smile is contagious! But, so are frowns, jeers and anger. We tend to mimic each others emotional expressions and synchronize to the emotional vibration too. If you are unconscious of emotional contagion your attitude can be greatly influenced by others, affecting your behavior.

Synchronization
Of course, everyone reacts differently to negative or positive emotions when coming in contact with the emotions of others, but synchronization can happen unconsciously as the frequency of the emotional energy in your aura changes to the same or similar to those around you, particularly if you want to be considered part of the group.

Friends and families will synchronize emotionally as their aura’s blend and reflect the same or similar energy frequency. Our emotions attract similar emotions and traits from each other through the Law of Attraction. We physically boost that synchronization unconsciously by mimicking facial expressions and body language.

But, there are times that we make a cognitive effort to feel the same emotions as those around us like when we are at social gatherings, football games, parties, etc. We consciously mimic facial expressions, body language and tone of voice. 

This is also very apparent in the workplace were you may find yourself feeling obligated to display the group emotion or attitude. Your boss and managers usually set the emotional tone since they are more emotionally contagious because of their authority.

You’ve most likely experienced this at motivational pep talks or work functions.

Emotional Reflection
We’ve been predominately conditioned unconsciously to emotionally synchronize from a young age. A classic example is when we smile back at someone that smiles at us, even if they are faking it. But, we can usually tell if they are faking it and are put off by it.

The great thing is that if someone genuinely smiles at us, we can not only see the difference we can feel it emotionally, lifting our spirits. We’ll most likely genuinely smile back, projecting that same loving energy from within ourselves. The love in a genuine smile draws love from within us through the Law of Attraction, while the hatred in a jeer can draw out fear from within us.

Emotions are Contagious!
Though we are strongly influenced by facial expressions and body language or by what others say, we are more seduced by the frequency of their mood – the emotional energy that radiates out and in their aura. The emotions charge thoughts with energy and they manifest physically in our facial expressions, body language and behaviors. So everything is connected and have real effects if we are conscious of them or not. The key point is to be conscious!

Emotional contagion works both ways – our emotions can influence the behaviors of others, so being conscious of our own emotions is just as important as being conscious of the emotions of others.

Fear of Terrorists, Part 3

We all are affected in some way by terrorism because each of us carry a trait of fear in our ego and personality. When that trait is activated through worry, hatred, anguish or similitude it adds to the world collective of negative energy, pulling us further into it.

Terrorism and fear are problems to rise above as we make other choices that lead to happiness for us all.

BE CONSCIOUS OF FEAR
Any fear that we harbor in the subconsciousness can be unconsciously activated and added to the fear circling the globe when we relate to terrorism through the media or any other way.

It can also draw more negative energy and fear to us. Thus, some of the fear we experience concerning the situation may be what we unconsciously drew to us from the fear circling in the world mental atmosphere. It’s like the mass seduction of a mob with fear spreading from person to person until nearly everyone is affected.

CHOOSE PEACE
Whenever you experience any type of fear, especially fear of terrorism, look on it as an opportunity to over-come it. That’s putting some positive energy in the equation already.

Consider viewing the ‘thinker’ within, bringing your thinking to the present moment where your body is physically. It frees you to practice silencing the mind, thereby releasing fearful thoughts, and you can consciously choose to align with inner and universal peace.

BE OPEN TO UNDERSTANDING
Through science we now have a bigger view of the universe; we are part of a great sea of infinite galaxies, infinite abundance, infinite creativity and infinite power. This enables us to have a deeper understanding and a base of faith that we are part of something greater than our self.  

What some would call God, Lightbearers call the Great Principle, Our Father, that IS Unlimited Power, Cosmic Mind, Ubiquitous Law, All-inclusive Love and All-Encompassing Spirit.

HAVE FAITH
Humanity created religions for our own emotional comfort because of the pain from our mental fall from Grace; our belief that we have lost the support of the Eternal. Fear, hatred and all the other negative subconscious traits were created because of that belief, and terrorists and fear of terrorists stem from that.

Yet, there is hope because there is still a flicker of faith within us that Harmony exists. That faith can become a flame to help us rise above fear.

DEVELOP AN INNER SENSE OF PEACE
Though we may experience fear it will eventually end because we created it and give it power.

Let us fight for freedom! When you are peaceful, happy and loving within yourself and express goodwill, caring, kindness and compassion for others, it helps raise everyone out of fear and break the cycle of terror.

Love too can circle around the world, increasing the Light in mind and heart.

Mind Soul Statements

We may not know what is going on in a newborn’s fuzzy little head, but if you can read their analogy they communicate soul to soul. They express emotions, display mental sensory awareness and new research is showing that they even display some level of self-consciousness. Their mental condition points the way to our own mental condition and transformation to Enlightened Mind.

Consciousness
Newborns have a fully functioning Mind, but with a new brain they have to acquire knowledge and consciously learn through their senses. They feel gentle kisses on their little faces, hear our coos of love and encouragement, taste mother’s milk, smell the scent of her and even try to focus their eyes.

They are like a mental sponge, absorbing knowledge at an amazing rate. They naturally live in the moment, synchronizing mind and body. They feel pain, but apparently do not fear it.

Somewhere along the way to becoming an adult, we’ve forgotten what comes naturally to newborns. We’ve become resistant to change, reluctant to learn anything new, experience fear, and forget to live in the moment. Yes, we are now more self-conscious, which is the idea of “I think, therefore, I am.” But, we’ve gotten so wrapped-up in our busy life and demands of civilization that we neglect trying to know our inner self and soul, which is essential to realizing our connection to and support of the Eternal “I AM,”  and our very realistic happiness now.

Subconsciousness
It is true that newborns exhibit obvious signs of mental inefficiencies like nescience and emotional subconscious traits like impatience, but they also have an aura of Love about them. They incarnated to earth physically helpless, trusting and having faith in the Eternal to provide means to grow into a better, freer condition. That trust is made real and material through us, their caretakers. It’s an amazing privilege  for us.

It is a common practice in hospitals for preemies to be held for periods of time on a care taker’s chest with skin contact. They hear the heart beat, feel the charge and aura of love of another soul.

The heart is our seat of Love and this therapy nurtures them through the Law of Attraction and Law of Vibration. Newborns need care and love in order to flourish, giving us a great opportunity to personate unconditionally love and compassion as representatives of the Great Principle on earth.

Allowing Enlightened Mind
Being self-conscious of unconditional Love and compassion is allowing an Enlightened Mind. We live in the momentkeeping to the main issues without getting lost in details. We listen to the voice of Inspiration (‘I am’), having faith and trust in our connection with and support of ‘I AM,’ the Great Principle. And thus, by allowing Enlightened Mind we make responsible choices to not only help newborns, but also to help all of us achieve all that we can in this life.
