To Know

water lilly blue reasoning

In order for us to truly understand and know ourselves, we open ourselves, our thinking consciousness to the tenderness of our heart and Love. We heal ourselves because we become whole again – Mind and Love – recombine. Masculine Mind and Feminine Love energies freely flow together.

The heart knows, yet the brain forgot we are so beautiful and are at Home in unconditional Love. That frequency of Home is so close to us, yet to far away in our thinking because we have forgotten who we are and where we belong as souls.

In this creation of our earthly time we quest to Know who we are because some part of us knows we come from a realm of Harmony. We are of the realm of Harmony. We quest to feel the Truth and return to Harmony.

From our human mind we create opportunities for us to evolve step by step, even as we continue to forget what we quest for and suffer the consequences of our mental separation and behaviors.

“The more we improve our conscious self, under the direction of our Higher Self, the more we will invade and conquer our subconsciousness.  Some day both subconsciousness and Superconsciousness will disappear and only perfect consciousness will be left. This will be the divine or cosmic consciousness. We should just try to develop our consciousness. Become conscious of Truth. To develop consciousness is only to become aware. Be aware of all mistakes and misstatements, but do not condemn them in another. The Great Law will do that. Listen to others, then analyse what they say, before believing.”

Eugene Fersen, Aphorisms of The Lightbearer, page 676

When You Love

white orchid life refined 4

Love is our true protection.

Being conscious of Love gives us a perspective of the way our mind works and we can get a view of others too. And, we can see impatience, frustration, anger, hatred in others and how we may have been tempted to response in same at one time. Yet, with unconditional Love the negative energy doesn’t touch us and we have compassion for the one that directed their fear to us. And, we are grateful to know Love.

That Love touches the other person if they are consciously aware of it or not and some healing and harmony comes about.

We shouldn’t tolerate abuse, including mental and emotional, and walk away from it when we can. Others can help us and our Inner strength and Love will help put it behind us mentally and emotionally, so we can face life with optimism. Universal Law is always just and principled, thus our choice for Love will create more Love and harmony in our reality. And, those that fear and are angry, hateful and jealous will attract more negative energy.

Yet, remember there are times when such a person that fears and hates will be attracted to those that Love unconditionally because they are seeking a way, a path, a person to help them to also release the hurt and fear that they feel. And, a person that Loves unconditionally can help them do that.

The Law of Love is to face every condition, every person with Love. The Lover listens and recognizes shadows harbored in fear, ignorance, impatience, pride. All the while pressing in the pain, solidified. Understands the mind of worry, sorrow, slain. Offers harmony of responsive compassionate domain:

“The more we apply that Law of Love in our lives, the stronger we become on our positive side, and the greater is the harmony within us, until finally we reach a condition of such harmony that no negative vibrations of any kind can ever touch us more because there is no longer in us a response to anything negative.”

Use Your Nightmares to Realize Your Happiness, The Power of Emotions to Change Your Life Part 9

nightmare visions

It’s the worst kind of nightmare, jotting wide awake, with heart pounding, scared near to death and out of breath nightmare. The one that causes you to carry around this terrible dread all day long after. That’s the nightmare, or any bad dream, that can help you realize your happiness!

Why Nightmares?

The base of a nightmare is subconscious fear surfacing to consciousness. It’s bringing something to our attention, some issue that needs to be addressed. Or reoccurring dreams may be about something we are anticipating or have to make a decision about. Nevertheless, they are about issues to address.

Post-traumatic nightmares that are repeated may be the subconscious recycling in the trauma and we are being re-traumatized, even though the event is unlikely to reoccur. Through nightmares we are becoming conscious of fears that’s been stuck in the subconscious, circling causing us to suffer emotionally and even physically since emotions are such a powerful force in our reality. The consciousness is giving us an opportunity to realize self-autonomy and self-determination, rather than being a slave to the ego.

Types of Dreams?

I’ve had what felt like post-traumatic dreams from a past-life experience; a remembrance of that reality. The dream gave me insights to questions I’d had about a situation and relationship. It doesn’t matter if the dream was truly a remembrance of a past-life or not, and it is not something that I know happened. Yet it was beneficial in that it gave me some insight about my attitude stuck in the subconscious concerning  another person, and from that insight came compassion for us both and our relationship was harmonized.

There are many types of dreams and nightmares, which occur for many different reasons. There may be medical reasons for night terrors, such as illnesses or medications or there may be deep psychological reasons, for which we should consult medical professionals. Yet for most of us, our nightmares are pointing out issues to address. Of course, those issues may come through symbolism, in which case dream interpretation can become a means of self-analysis.

Analyzing your dreams

There are many dream interpretation websites and books available to help those that are not familiar with symbolism in dreams. The two references I use are: In Your Dreams, The Ultimate Dream Dictionary by Mary Summer Rain and Dreams, Your Magic Mirror with Interpretations by Edgar Cayce by Elsie Sechrist.

Yet, the information on the websites and in books is only a guideline for possible interpretation of your dreams. Everyone is different. A nightmare with a snake may symbolize an attack or retaliation to you, while it may symbolize wisdom to someone else, and temptation to another.

Over time you will come to know how to piece together the key elements in your dreams and their representation. Consider keeping a dream journal near your bedside to write down your dreams as soon as you awaken, since the subconscious also likes to forget. We start thinking about our day and our dreams fade away.

What to do about a Nightmare

If you can use your dream to solve an issue with conflict thinking within yourself then all the better for you to make a decision and draw to yourself what you need to enact it by your positive energy, thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

For those nightmares in which there is no logical resolve then visualization can help bring you into positive emotions. In a silent and reflective state visualize a positive and empowering outcome of the dream. You are putting positive energy back into the subconscious with your thoughts and emotions to change your attitude, empowering yourself to create a happier reality.

Another practice to consider that I do is just before you fall asleep is to make positive I am Declarations of Truth. This sets the tone and frequency of our thinking before going unconscious. Sleeping is beneficial for us in this stage of our evolution because the body uses it to regenerate since it is in a relaxed state, releasing stress.

Think of Air as Power. Breathe deep and take the Star position in bed, consciously contacting Universal Life Energy. Universal Life Energy is the first physical manifestation of the Eternal, connecting you with All Power, All Intelligence, All Truth, All Love and All Harmony. Consider an I am Declaration of Truth. The one below is taught in Science of Being:

Father, thou art inspiring me on the Spiritual plane. Guiding me on the Mental plane. Sustaining and protecting me on the Physical plane. I am an individualized projection into thy own Eternal substance. Proceeding from and indissolubly connected with thee, manifesting all the same qualities and powers. Thank You.

Living in the moment

Sometimes we do things we are not proud of, and it troubles us, which can go into our subconscious to grow and cause us to have nightmares or effects our behaviors without knowing why we act the way we do. Or we experience something that troubles us. And, it could have happened long ago, even when we were a child. Your consciousness can retrieve the images from nightmares and dreams and use it to release negative energy.

We can choose to be happy rather than carry around fear through the methods described above and those in other entries (specifically as described in the series Releasing False Beliefs about Yourself and Gaining Control over Negative Emotions).

The best thing we can do for ourselves is to live  in the moment being lead by unconditional Love, releasing egotistic temptations.

Controlled Desperation

but the dolls did seem to forewarn of conditions, intertwined
shaping her happiness, which was sinking, confined.

She became conscious of conflict thinking –
tourists and trinkets and baby sleeping;
then concentrated on those that made her life feel right.

She closed her eyes and brought her hand to rest upon her heart,
trying to hold the moment there for safekeeping,
evoking her thought of love and labor to gratefully reunite.

We all have challenges in life. And, amazingly these are conditions we created for ourselves as opportunities to advance our understanding and remember unconditional Love.

As related to this quote to consider for reflection:

“Why do some individuals come to the Earth to suffer and others to enjoy? If for some reason they could not get all they deserved for their good or evil deeds in one incarnation, in one life on Earth, then they must come back to this plane again in order to get it in another life. In other words, they come to this Earth as children go to school; it is indeed the School of Life, where all lessons must be learned and all mistakes corrected. Then only are we ready for some higher and greater work. This explanation is the only logical one which completely does away with that seeming injustice in the destiny of human beings. In any case, it certainly is more acceptable than the theory of eternal bliss and eternal punishment.”

The Heart Tells

Red sunset

Layer upon layer of madness confronts me as I lay in life demands,
With corruption and hopelessness trammeling me without a voice to command.
Frightful dreams and memories tie me to illusions of contraband,
While fog and extreme pain blinds me as I struggle to consciously understand.

I quiet the thump, spark of light remand,
The heart of mind reminds me to hold still, withstand
Release fear, and embrace Love; heart expand.

We help ourselves achieve some peace and happiness by being mindful in the moment. Hoping for happiness is happiness which is not yet achieved, yet we can have faith that the Great Principle is helping us through all Eternal Laws to evolve into our natural harmonious condition.

Consider this quote for reflection:

“Being a Law and an eternal one, it is not only Hope that the Law of Evolution brings to us, but also the assurance that no matter what may happen, SUCCESS and TRIUMPH are ours eventually.”

Eugene Fersen, Science of Being.

You

Firey Sunset 2
Though we are far apart
I see the Light in You;
we are close in heart,
we are close in love.

And though we may not speak
I hear your euphoric voice;
the heart that rings True Love,
bringing joy and peace, equipoise.

Though we may not touch
I feel your affectionate embrace;
fear and pride, put aside insomuch
heart to mind, mind to heart does interface.

Though we may not commune physically
I smell the sweet fragrance of your essence
I taste your truth and beauty metaphysically
I sense your rapturous luminescence.

You facilitate individuality and personality intercourse.
Softy joined together the heart of mind thereof;
You are power and force
You are Unconditional Love.

…every affection, every fervent emotion, every loving thought, word, look or deed—all these loves, be it the love which makes worlds vibrate, or the little unconscious love of two chemicals, put in the presence of one another and combining because they are mutually attracted—loves small and great, conscious or unconscious, sublime or low, taken together into One Great Whole, make THE ONE INFINITE UNIVERSAL LOVE FOR WHICH NOTHING IS TOO GREAT.

What’s in your name?

names on back of living leaf

Personal human names are interesting. When we’re born someone else gives us our name. With that name comes the frequency that is carried with it through association. It is a ‘me’ identity rather than an individual ‘I’ identity – the essence of our soul. It’s a clumsy means of identity, yet it is important for us in our human life.

Our names carry some weight in our life because of the thoughts, emotions, memories, traits associated with that name. And, on a deeper level there is a frequency and meaning associated with our name – a potential for us.

We’ve probably had many, many different names over many different lifetimes. And, even in this lifetime you may have been known by different names – nickname as a baby, a child, a sweetheart, partner, even behind your back that you don’t consciously know about! Yet, it is our legal name that holds the most potential for our karma in this lifetime.

Even if it is a family name passed down it still has some like frequency to match the soul to be incarnated. And, it gets more interesting when we change our name, not only through marriage as for a female, but also when we consciously choose a name for ourselves, and how our perspective can change over the years as we grow and mature mentally.

For example, the names on the photo above, that were written on the back of a paper plant in the jungle. The English name Carol, short for Caroline (means ‘song’) is a feminine form of Charles (Latin form Carolus) which means manly, strong. The name Curtis originally meant ‘courteous’ in Old French. The name Sundi means ‘goodness’ or ‘obedient.’

My name is Portia – a name my mother picked for me. She said she was reading Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice. There was also a radio show called, Portia Faces Life. In Latin Portia means an offering. Plus, the numerology of this combination of letters has a #7 frequency, which has a potential for directing attention to higher law. The meaning of the name and the frequency fits my personality and potential as a soul.

Consider your name, especially the name you most frequency are called or your legal first name, and look up the meanings if you don’t know them already to get an indication of potential and connotations. It may give you some insight. Even if you or others do not consciously know the meaning or frequency of your name, it still has a subtle influence.

REMEMBER that of course, as souls we have free will and we change our frequency and our reality through our choices!

“Everything in Life is important.”

Eugene Fersen, author of Science of Being.

You created this moment

water lilly blue You have created

Each of us are in a personal transformation process of discovering and revealing our Real Self and soul. We are in a creative process – we create our reality  which is a reflection of our original spiritual power of creativity. But we repress  or deny that power of creativity or use it to cause us to be distracted or to misdirect it in negative creations and self-images that cause us to suffer.

We believe we are not smart enough, rich enough, thin enough, fit enough, witty enough, beautiful enough, educated enough. We feel lonely, depressed, worried, left out. Thinking and believing false assumptions until they become our self-concept and identity. We can feel justified for jealousy, hatred, and even take offense against others. These are our creations that cause us to suffer.

We will reap the effects of our thought, emotions and actions – and it will manifest in our life.

Create your happiness

We create a more harmonious, happy life with positive energy – positive thoughts, emotions, and of course, behaviors and actions. It all starts with our attitude!

Here are some simple ways to create a happier life for yourself, which will touch others also:

  1. Approach everything as being an opportunity to grow and learn the lesson of love, even during the most trying of times.

  2. Be conscious and mindful of the watcher of the thinker! Detach from negative thoughts and emotions.

  3. Be grateful for your opportunity of life and to have come this far.

  4. Listen to your intuition and follow through on the guidance.

  5. Express goodwill, kindness, caring and love from the tenderness of your heart to everyone, including yourself.

  6. Contact Universal Life Energy to energize and harmonize yourself.

  7. Mentally and emotionally connect to the Eternal with Declarations of Truth just before falling asleep. I am statements like: I am One with the Absolute, All Power, All Wisdom, All Truth, All Love and All Beings.

  8. Daily practice spiritual exercises, such as, Relaxation and Silence, meditation.

  9. Create something everyday – like when you were happy and in the moment creating as a child – art, cooking, writing, imaginative beauty – the ways are unlimited! Listen to your Higher Self.

  10. Smile!
