Your Fate – Laws of Karma and Rhythm

Spiderwisp

Karma and the Law of Rhythm

Thought → Emotion → Temptation → Behavior →

Karmic Effect becomes a cause for another cycle → Thought → …

These are the cycles, the rhythms of our lives.

We are emotional beings and our emotions power our thoughts and behaviors. One emotion can generate a thoushand thoughts. All those thoughts affect our behaviors and our reality. And with the Law of Rhythm we repeat history!

What we feel, think and how we behave, attracts like into our reality ….. in our bodies and health, our physical reality ….. family, work, society at large. and it’s cyclic because of the swing of the pendulum.

Like the waves of the ocean we ride the wave forward, then there’s an undertow drawing us backwards. When we are moving forward it is for our own benefit to take advantage of it and ride the wave forward with gusto! Enjoy it and put our full effort into whatever project we have in mind.

When we feel the undertow starting to come into play then it is an indication to slow, stand strong and refuse to be pulled backwards, mentally acknowledging that it has no power over us …… use negation. This period is beneficial because it gives you time to recharge, refocus and refine your objectives.

It’s simple

As we educate ourselves to understand the Laws of the Universe we can make conscious choices with our best interest in mind. It’s simple really – we empower ourselves through uplifting emotions and thoughts, and responsible behaviors.

The key is to BE CONSCIOUS with LOVE motivating us. If we aim for no harm to ourselves or others it helps harmonize us all. We flow in harmony with both the Laws of Cause and Effect, Karma and Rhythm.

We are the masters of our own fate.

“Our incarnations and reincarnations are determined by our activities here and there. That is we stay in the Beyond longer if our activities here have been constructive. And the same in the Beyond, if our activities are constructive we stay longer on Earth.”

Eugene Fersen, Teachings of Science of Being.

Karma and getting ahead of it

As a young student of Science of Being my spiritual teacher and I were walking and having a conversation, when I stubbed my toe and stumbled with arms awkwardly flying. It really hurt physically, but the worst part was the embarrassment.

I asked my teacher about the entire scenario and the obvious answer was, it was the consequences of the Law of Cause and Effect, karma. I was unconscious of taking care, unconscious of being loving and walking gently on Mother Earth. I was not consciousness and aware of Love.

The corners of Mind and Love we not in equalibrium. And pain is the teacher ….. physical and mental! The emotional attitude of pride was the root of embarrassment, and useless for my happiness and development and everyone else’s.

It was a good lesson! And I appreciate it. The Law of Cause and Effect is of great benefit to us because within so called negative karma is also potential for inspiration to start positive causes.

We are gifted with free will to shape our destiny and are not fixed in negative karma ….. if we do not allow ourselves to stay down mentally and circle in regret and self-punishment. Such attitudes keep us circling in karma, creating more, attracting more low levels of thinking, moods, and behaviors.

We can view mistakes from a conscious perspective of consideration. Mistakes can inspire us to be more aware, conscious that we are out of alignment with harmony …… not FourSquare. They point us to make decisions, intents with caring and compassion for ourselves and others.

This simple mind trick can make you do the opposite of what was intended!

discriminate

FreeDigitalPhotos.net, hyena reality

When you hear, “Don’t look!”  It’s like when Perseus was warned about Medusa’s snakes for hair that could turn a man to stone. It’s almost impossible not to look! Or when you hear someone say, “Don’t be afraid.” It’s like your heart drops and you’ve heard, “Be afraid, be very afraid!” It’s a subconscious mind trick.

The subconscious ego will take us emotionally and mentally on rides to places to support its own programming. It’s self-righteous and dislikes being bossed around because of fear. And it’s programmed to keep us mentally busy, chatty and inattentive in our thinking so we are constantly being entertained. We follow its trails of thoughts.

The subconscious is entertained by the primary word of the thought rather than the word not or n’t. The word not or n’t seems to disappear from our attention and we follow a familiar trail of thoughts from the primary word.

And we are all good with that until we start to consciously wake up.

When we start to wake up we realize it’s  a challenge to become conscious and in the present moment. All of our past history, stories, beliefs and habits are like alluring trails that lead us to the familiar.

Yet there is a simple awakening practice. And this works when talking to yourself or when speaking with others.

Consciously choose the appropriate words as directives to the subconscious.

If the goal is to remember, rather than saying, “don’t forget,” say, “remember.”

When speaking to yourself, mentally swallow remember in order to program the subconscious to remember. This is using the Law of Gender, because you plant an idea in the subconscious to grow and return to the consciousness.

I’ve used this method so many times when I feel it is critical to remember something, like where I parked the car in a parking garage.

Be conscious of the words you choose. And remember the way the subconscious works. Consider saying, “Look away,” rather than, “Don’t look!” And, “Be brave,” or “Be courageous,” rather than, “Don’t be afraid.”

Your Superconscious speaks to you through intuition and leads your power of discrimination when you allow it. So listen to your intuition. You know what to do and what not to do and are conscious and in the moment.

Inevitably there are times it seems appropriate to use not. Like, “This does not mean…” Just follow that thought with what it does mean.

Until next time consider this quote to reflect upon:

“The subconsciousness always imposes on consciousness. It always wants us to do something. The Superconsciousness always wants to be asked. When we ask we should always believe that we will receive. The Eternal must answer when asked.”

Eugene Fersen, Pearls of Wisdom, Volume I, p. 313.

Mindful in love making and Self-centeredness – 2 unconventional methods for positive change!

1.  Self-centeredness

We like to think we are unselfish, but unfortunately, we stick with what we are familiar with. If we think we’re unhappy we experience our reality through the lens of our unhappiness. And, we will circle over and over in our mind why we are unhappy, which leads to finding more reasons to be unhappy.

Our selfishness can cause us to suffer, yet self-centeredness with the purpose of self-awareness can lead to us becoming more conscious of how and why we create our reality the way we do. Meditation and mindfulness in the moment are important tools to becoming more self aware.

When we discover what is weak and what is strong within us, what is ignorant and what is intelligent, what is dishonest and what is sincere, what is unkind and what is loving within us, we learn what is helpful and what is harmful.

 2. Mindful in love making

Most of us lust in sex, especially in our younger years. Lust is a mechanical thing, a subconscious egotistic urge with little to no Self-awareness other than the desire for sexual satisfaction. Even when we think we are aiming to satisfy and love another person, we are out for our own satisfaction.

We desire to be desirable and to be loved, but it’s like in the song, “I can’t get no satisfaction!” We have been plagued by the subconscious ego for so long that we doubt the tenderness of our heart, our ability to love unconditionally. We feel separate from everyone else in the world and disconnected from the Eternal, so we seek love through our lust. But, when we do get satisfaction, when we reach an orgasm then our lust disappears. We become conscious of, at least to an extent, an euphoric state.

Yet, if you are mindful and conscious during love making, the observer of the thinker and observer of your emotions, truly enjoying your partner, being with them, feeling connected then you will become more aware of the moment without attachment.

A paradox of sorts because we feel connected, yet freer. When we love we feel light. Freer of the subconscious ego that holds us down, makes us dense and heavy because it imprisons us with fear, afraid of being unlovable and of committing to love.

You can rise into higher conscious energy and emotional frequencies of the heart. Amazingly you may become more conscious of love. Conscious of being one with your partner, while being two. Conscious of I am that.

The true pleasure, enjoyment of loving making becomes beauty. You are experiencing the Principle of Love. When we live for the good of our loved one without expectation we are living soul love. We love everything beautiful, strong, good and wise. We love the whole world because we are so happy.

Through your love for another person you are Loving the Great Principle –  I am That! It is a return to Love; knowing that you are one with the unconditional Love of the Great Principle and indissolubly connected.

Santa Claus is a lie! A liberating lesson about false beliefs in any system

sunset-white

When I first heard those words from my spiritual teacher, “Santa Claus is a lie,” I was shocked even though I knew it was true! The truth sank into my core, and I  was finally free of the illusion and all the stress, obligations and expectations that accompanied it.

As adults we experience the stress of doubt in our spiritual life without consciously knowing the reason. Lies and illusions can spread to include distrust of ourselves, our inner knowing, and even prompt us to make accusations against others in our self-righteousness unless we take steps to change.

Traditional lies

During our childhood we are taught to believe in traditions, even false ones, but eventually we learn the truth. We learn that people lie to us, blindly believing it is a good thing to do.

Though we are all reaching for Love, we may feel like we need something to believe in to make us happy and feel like we are part of something.

Dream the dream of illusion

A great fear of ours is to be left out! That fear of being left out and the desire to belong feeds the subconscious ego and we blindly become ‘followers.’ This can lead to misunderstanding, doubt, impatience, anger and hatred because we can become self-righteousness. We see so much of this in our world.

We can invest so much emotional expectations in a blind belief that when those expectations are not met we experience stress and heartache. And, until we face and reveal to ourselves the cause of our stress, doubt and pain, we will continue to dream the dream of illusion. And, we will continue to experience the pressure, expectations and obligations accompanying it.

Liberation comes through conscious awareness and Love

Until we consciously awaken, question, discriminate and listen to our inner Love and guidance, we will accept every belief, superstition  and prejudice without discrimination.

How do you even begin to listen to your inner guidance? Follow your feelings, your emotions, to their source. The true reason back of them.

When you consciously experience your emotions you can sense a problem and ask yourself questions as to why you feel that way. Expand your consciousness and open to the tenderness of your heart. And, your Higher Self and your connection to your sacred heart center will lead you to the answer.

Such insights and inspirations are messages from your soul. And, we all have additional help, including from greater realms of Harmony and the Great Principle.

And, live in the moment. When you mentally focus on your body in your surroundings then you can focus on your inner presence and be grateful for so much you may take for granted.

Truth or consequences

The way you respond to conditions in life determines the way you evolve. It determines your power, health, success and happiness. You can be conscious of creating in the Light of Love or circle unconsciously in the consequences in the action of karma.

But, even the path of pain, stress and doubt can lead us through the lesson to love and compassion. When we’ve suffered enough we will look for the reason why and do something about it.

Being free of a false belief opens you to be conscious of the Light of Love. It releases you from expectations, obligations and the mass dream. A burden lifted off your back!

All lessons lead us to remember Love eventually,

which is the base of unconditional Love.

From poopy to awesome! Equipping yourself to conquer adversity

Bad Mood, Good Mood

The Power of Emotion to Change Your Life, Part 10

This has happened to me and may to you – when I got up in the morning I suddenly started to feel a bit uncomfortable and anxious, mostly because of stress, obligations and problems to face. But by the time I got dressed and ready to face the day I was feeling better and on the upside.

poopy-to-awesome

We can experience mood shifts with no apparent reason. Something as subtle as a faint fowl odor can trigger an emotional reaction. As we grow out of adolescence we begin to regulate our emotions and form habits to express pain or pleasure, to conform to society, to facilitate our persona or a situation, or even to manipulate others. Our emotions have such a big impact in our life and our ability to solve problems because they are powered by our soul. But, if we are unconscious of what motivates our emotion, especially if it is connected to a problem we’ve have been ignoring, it can hamper our ability to overcome adversity.

To equip ourselves to overcome adversities it is necessary to be conscious of what strengthens us or weakens us.

Our emotion motivate us – strength or weakness

Our emotions can increase or decrease the intensity of the moment, having a big influence on our coping process. But we also experience emotions and the thoughts that feed them unconsciously. Our subconscious ego can hold on to lower frequency energies based in fear, ignorance and impatience in our lower heart center. And thus, our mind and senses can trigger emotions unconsciously and impair us. Most notably if we’ve been exposed to violence or other traumas.

A mindful practice – a strength

Part of healing ourselves is to be conscious of the many different emotions we experience especially when we face adversity or opposition ranging from anger to happiness, self-pity to superiority, hopelessness to hope, and fear to love. Being mindful, we can observe them without attachment. We can relax in the waves of our moods, emotions and thoughts like the waves of the ocean. Raising and falling without clinging. Natural. The highs and lows are constantly moving and changing, blending, containing elements of each other.

The Higher order of the Law of Polarity – a strength

Adversity has such a powerful influence in our life because we utterly believe in ‘negative.’ We fear it and believe that ‘negative’ is the opposite of ‘positive,’ and that negative is necessary to know positive. But this is a perverted subconscious ego’s belief about duality.

The Law of Polarity is a very beneficial law that means balance and synchronization. It brings things together in order for you to establish harmony in your life. To help you align your personality with your soul.

Adversity and any opposition can serve a greater purpose and that is to give you the opportunity to not cycle repeatedly in ‘negative’ karma, but to find and synchronize with the true nature of your heart and soul in order to harmonize the trend of your life. Consider that you as a soul create opportunities to learn life lessons.

Subconscious emotional attachments – a weakness

For example, if someone gets mad, starts shouting at you and escalating the tone of the situation you can fall unconsciously into the same frequency and react with anger. Or, if you feel you have been ‘left out’ and lonely, worried or depressed, you can unconsciously get stuck there while you yearn for love.fearful-karmic-cycle

Mindful in the action of the Law of Cause and Effect – a strength

When you are tempted to get angry or feeling down the more you as a soul has emphasized that this is an opportunity to consciously know the harmony, the love, the wisdom, the ‘positive’ energy of yourself. And, you are able to consciously choose the response to create a karma that makes you freer, stronger and happier. karma-positive2

Empowering yourself  in the face of adversity – strengths

  1. Be calm, conscious and mindful in the moment. Caution is a means of self protection, yet we should not be afraid. Fear feeds worry and anxiety and we can get frozen and unable to act with an effective mind. Silence and relaxation opens us to see possibilities and opportunities in the moment.
  2. In mindfulness you can be conscious that Joy and happiness is available to you now which aligns you with high-frequency energy. Let the Light of your Mind and the higher frequency of Love in your higher heart center be your motivation! Consciously choose an uplifting motivation. Choose Love over fear.
  3. Do your best to reach up to that higher part of yourself, your Higher Self and let it penetrate into your consciousness. Make ‘I am’ statements as truths, like ‘I am strong, wise, inspired and harmonious now.’ Feel it!
  4. Empower yourself further by contacting Universal Life Energy which backs you up with the harmonious power of the Great Principle Itself to overcome the challenge you face. It is the Life Force that connects you with Universal Consciousness.
  5. See any temptation to be angry, worried or resentful as an opportunity to reach up to that part of yourself that has chosen to learn a lesson. If you are tempted to see only hardship and negative, then remember the true meaning of the Law of Polarity and that the subconscious likes to keep you in that belief and instead of seeing the bigger picture as an opportunity to harmonize yourself.

When you truly understand that every adversity or opposition you experience is interconnected and synchronized in the action of universal laws it empowers you. The Law of Polarity, Law of Cause and Effect, Law of Gender, Law of Rhythm, the Law of Evolution and the Law of Unity. It empowers you to make conscious choices and uplifting emotional motivations that directly impact your human life and your spiritual development.

And step by step you harmonize yourself, overcoming adversity and stress. And in so doing you help harmonize the whole of humanity.

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

“Preserve an indomitably joyful and optimistic attitude, no matter how hard circumstances may press you. The more you repose your full confidence in Universal Life Energy and throw your whole weight into the scale of the Positive, the more rapidly you equip yourself to conquer all adversity.  You are conscious that through Universal Life Energy you enlist the Great Law itself in your favor.”

Like in a reality show we create conflict in our life! But why?

fighting

Television dramas and reality shows soar in popularity, especially when there is obvious conflict. We want the characters to bravely face problems and overcome them. We want happy endings and great achievements. But, why are we so attracted to conflict in stories and competitions? And, do we purposefully create conflict in our life?

The Entertainment

Sure, we like to be entertained with games and stories on tv and conflict makes good drama. We are kept in suspense and emotionally invested with anticipation in the hope of them overcoming the challenges they face.  We like the adventure and are attracted to it because we relate it to our own drama.

Our Power of Creation

In reality shows some of the conflict is staged for entertainment. But, in our own reality we create conflict and drama in our life unconsciously because we fall prey to subconscious negative temptations.

Cause and effect modality

When we do fall prey to negative temptations we have chosen to engage in the dynamic of karma. Negative karma can be very painful, yet we may learn some very valuable life lessons.

Myself as an example

I remember driving and coming to a stop light, when the driver of the car in the parallel lane next to me got very angry that I hadn’t pulled up further. He shouted at me and I quickly replied with a nasty response. Fortunately the light turned green and we moved on.

I still remember that particular road rage incident, my self-centerness and retaliation, and the pain it caused me from guilt.

Yet, I learned from it –  to care about what I am doing in the moment. And, that even when I make a mistake and it is painful, I can pick myself up and know that I am on the other side of it.

That moment lead me to understand that when we sincerely quest for answers to know ourselves, help and answers will come.

Life lessons

When someone attackes us it is a sure sign they are hurting. And jumping in their pain only adds to it, feeds it, and hurts us too. They have a right to their own mistakes and learning process.

That doesn’t mean we should accept abuse. Love is strong and we can either remove ourselves, get help or report it to proper authorities.

Being conscious, calm and finding our own inner peace will help us release a retaliation response and even if the other person is not conscious of it, it will help the other person too.

We will keep experiencing the same lesson over and over until we recognize our authentic power of a conscious loving mind and manifest qualities of love.

Pain is a teacher

Pain in problems and conflict is something that we agreed to and created through our thoughts, emotions, and most of all, our behaviors. Yet, what hurts us also hurts others.

Remember!

Next time you face a challenge and are tempted by low-frequency emotions which creates conflict or adds to conflict, to get in a fight, be brave and remember that the greater the temptation, the more importance you have placed on the lesson you have agreed to learn!

In the hope You find Love close at hand, Portia SLB

Until next time consider this quote to reflection upon:

“Another way to neutralize that law of Polarity is continually to refuse to see the negative, always place the weight in the positive scale, to try to see, even in things most unpleasant, something good. Thus we cast the weight in the right scale, in the positive, and the result is, that by and by the law of Polarity will be neutralized, and finally will cease to operate in our lives at all. Then, ONLY the positive will come to us.”

Eugene Fersen, Science of Being

We all have challenges in life. And, amazingly these are conditions we created for ourselves as opportunities to advance our understanding and remember unconditional Love.

As related to this quote to consider for reflection:

“Why do some individuals come to the Earth to suffer and others to enjoy? If for some reason they could not get all they deserved for their good or evil deeds in one incarnation, in one life on Earth, then they must come back to this plane again in order to get it in another life. In other words, they come to this Earth as children go to school; it is indeed the School of Life, where all lessons must be learned and all mistakes corrected. Then only are we ready for some higher and greater work. This explanation is the only logical one which completely does away with that seeming injustice in the destiny of human beings. In any case, it certainly is more acceptable than the theory of eternal bliss and eternal punishment.”

The Hidden value of humor in your spiritual practice and life

funny gif police
buzzfeed gif

LOL! We can do funny stuff. As we age we accumulate negative energy in the subconscious through conditioning and the choices we make. We race for another day and dwell on the past. It can make our heart feel heavy, anxious and stressed. A sense of humor can be overlooked in spiritual practice, but it has real value and power.

The value of humor

If you laughed at the video above you probably feel more energized, happy and relaxed. Spontaneous laughter can relieve pinned up stress and negative energy from our heart and subconscious ego.

Smiling and laughter is an instinctual form of emotional communication. Babies radiate positive energy, love and acceptance when they smile or laugh.

With a sense of humor we can keep a balanced view of life. Everything is important and nothing is important. We enjoy a sense of wonder, where everything is interesting, never boring, and even humorous.

A sense of humor helps protect you

When we stumble we are tempted to be embarrassed, but with a sense of humor we can throw off negative energy like carelessness and see another side of it. Comedians can make us laugh at awful things we do. Have you ever giggled at a funereal or wake?

We instinctively laugh as a defense mechanism to mentally negate the possibility of emotional damage. It’s a protection against fear growing in our imagination and thinking because we are blocking negative suggestions and energy from entering our subconscious which could take root and grow – to come back and haunt us. A sense of humor can save us a lot of emotional troubles!

Laugh therapy

Because of increased stress at work, some corporations hire laugh therapists to help their employees release tension, relax and function better. The therapists aren’t comedians, rather they induce laughter through emotional contagion.

The energy of spontaneous laughter jumps and spreads through the Law of Attraction! You’ve probably experienced being in a room of people and someone starts to laugh, then it spreads and you laugh too without even knowing the original trigger. Contagious laughter fosters unity in groups. And, we may spontaneously laugh to trigger laughter in others!

Harmful laughter?

I do this nervous laugh when I don’t know what to say, so I stall. I initially thought I was doing it to lighten the situation up. But, it’s sort of an unconscious ‘ughhhh…’ It can be misinterpreted by others and I have gotten into trouble because of it. I’ve been practicing being conscious and considerate when I am tempted to laugh nervously, since it is based in doubt and it can hurt others.

There’s also the fake laugh and ridicule laugh. A ridicule laugh is dangerous because it can kill an idea, even something we like. People that argue or debate use ridicule laughter to gain the upper hand, to humiliate, to kill something in us.

Let’s not forget the diabolical, cruel laugh; we are communicating that something is wrong, very, very wrong.

Freeing our heart

A sense of humor is a great gift that we can develop through the practice of wonder. Being mindful we recognize that everything is in a constant state of change and this moment won’t come again. We’re not ‘stiffs,’ frozen in the drama of self-righteousness. We’re free to see all sides of the situation.

A sense of humor enriches our life. It gives us a creative, positive disposition and we become more relaxed. In a relaxed state we live a more natural, loving life.

Of course, the entire situation in the video above could be a setup and probably was just to get a laugh. If we laugh about it we feel better, it energizes us and our heart soars!

What Not to Do, Part 1

Ways of the World

There are plenty of websites and blogs that have lists of what not to do, such as ‘what not to do on your online dating profile’ and ‘what not to do in an interview’. Often times they can be very humorous while being true.

Yet, there are some very practical things to consider when it comes to what not to do when you want to improve your life and enlighten your spiritual journey.

discriminate

FreeDigitalPhotos.net, hyena reality

MEANS OF THE MIND
The subconscious doesn’t like to be told what not to do. That word ‘not’ or ‘n’t’ seems to disappear from our attention when used in a sentence, so consider reading the first sentence in this paragraph again! That’s the first important thing to remember about what not to do.

When you say to someone, especially a child, “don’t be afraid,” it’s like saying to the ego “be afraid, be very afraid!” Or, “don’t cry,” it’s like you are saying, “I understand why you are crying.” When you say, “don’t tell me what to do!” The subconscious of the person you’re speaking to tends to hear “tell me what to do,” and it’s almost irresistible for them not to tell you what to do!

When you say to yourself, “don’t forget,” the subconscious records the predominate word – forget. If you want to remember, say to yourself, “remember,” and mentally swallow it – you are programing the subconscious.

Be mindful and consciously choose the appropriate word as a directive to the subconscious since it is very good at recording thoughts and growing them, but not very good at recognizing the word ‘not’.

A very practical what not to do is try to change someone else. You can’t.

Everyone is incredibly strong. And, if you do try to change someone else you end up changing yourself! You ignore the health of your own sanity as self-righteousness and every subconscious trait that supports that line of thinking eats up the Light of your mind and emotions!

Everyone has a right to their thinking, even if it is harmful for them! Sad, but true. We can try to help them, but we can not change them. One of the best ways to help them is to work on changing our self for the better because it rubs off on those around us.

SPIRIT OF LOVE
Our great asset is our Higher Self, our Superconscious that speaks to us through intuition and inspiration which helps us know what not to do and what to do. And, we have the power of discrimination.

Knowledge is a means and power to help us advance and better our life, and along with soul sourced discrimination it can help us do that in universal balance.

With Light and Love, Portia SLB
