A real world Self-protection method that’s a mystical experience

We live in a rapidly changing, interactive world, but we are afraid of being hurt. We’re afraid of being left out, disrespected, ridiculed, abused or betrayed so we try to  protect ourselves by being emotionally guarded, defensive, reclusive, aggressive, angry, complaining, dishonest, or by running away.

But this creates conflict and distance between ourselves. Instead of helping us, these methods of self-protection actually end up hurting us. We want to be loved and respected, but we box our heart in with fear! For a method to release these barriers: Negative emotional contagion.

We suffer from fear

I experienced this very painfully during my youth because felt I didn’t belong in this world and tried to protect myself emotionally by appearing nice, but stuck up. However, inside I screamed for love and affection. I didn’t know I was adding to my detriment.

We can be bombed, stabbed, and killed in many ways, but we usually physically die because of our own fearful thoughts, beliefs and attitudes. Fear and ignorance kills us primarily through karma and attraction.

Your True protection

I’ve learned through spiritual studies and practice that you are naturally protected not by emotional barriers, nor by fear and going on the offense, but by love. Love is your true protection. It does not have an attitude of self-protection, yet when you  love unconditionally you radiate an aura of love that naturally protects you.

We can be emotionally hurt when hateful arrows of slander, hatred or disgust is thrown at us. It can hit you in the solar plexus or lower heart. Yet, when you are centered in unconditional Love emotional arrows will not hurt you. Even though you recognize the accusations and negative energy, you will feel a calming peace.

Love protects your aura, your mental and emotional being. And, you will feel it physically. I’ve experienced this many times and so can you.

As you grow closer to unconditional Love, you may become cautious. Yet that caution is perceptive, discriminatory and fearless. You become more confident and trust in Love, even when you experience doubt and an occasional emotional ruffle.

Enjoy the ride!

Listen to your intuition and follow the guidance of unconditional Love in your spiritual heart. Your spiritual heart is wise, unifying and fearless.

When you follow the tenderness of your heart your self-perception changes. And, as your self-perception changes, your perception of reality changes. Your inner mystical experiences become as real as your outer physical experiences.

Another way to put it:

Arrows Fly→→→

Listening to self-deception, sharpened by fear, jealousy, accusation,
Self-righteous arrows fly→→→  searching for their target to inflect  pain by humiliation.

The targeted heart♥←←← being both judicious and tender, ardently follows Spirit  consideration,
Whispers silent words forgiving, gently pressing in arrows of desperation.

Self-righteous slings more arrows→→→ whetted with suspicion of retaliation.
Again targeted heart♥←←← presses in arrows realizing psyche seeks release from the  pain  of holding on to fearful accumulation.

Anxious psyche shakes off self-doubt while searching for an explanation,
Unknowingly cries out for freedom from self-righteous justification.

Ardent heart♥ in stillness offers tender and gentle Love as motivation.
Looks up within for further guidance and inspiration.

The intent being to elicit Truth when there is possibility of arrows’ mobility,
The wish to convey the highest form of compatibility,
The hope being to maintain inner tranquility,
The reality being to deny fear of any other possibility.

It hurts so good: The beauty of pain; it’s not for the faint of heart

Behind pain is a mental cause. Mental disturbances can cause emotional anguish and physical illness, yet pain is also a wake-up call, especially when we are conscious of our potential for harmony! A spiritual journey is not for the faint of heart.

Pain is the teacher!

When we are hurting, physical or emotional pain is revealing that we are in the mist of disharmony. Yet, there is beauty in pain. Pain reminds us that Harmony is our natural condition. And, we consciously seek harmony when we experience pain. In the mist of disharmony we seek to align with Harmony.

When we are sick something is wrong that stems from the human mind. We co-create our reality with our thoughts, emotions and behaviors, but we unconsciously dwell so much of our time in ancient subconscious human fear. Any mental disturbance in our life can cause us to circle in that fearful energy. We form false, painful beliefs about ourselves. “I am worried, I am mad.” And it manifests physically in our emotions and body.

Fortunately, the Law of Attraction compassionately reveals negative energy you are burdened with when you feel physical pain, when you feel emotional pain, when you feel justified for a resentful, jealous or impatient attitude towards someone or guilty and depressed within.

Mindful moment

Notice your thoughts and feelings. Write those down that you want to consciously release.  You can consciously release them in meditation.

And, you can release painful and fearful feelings the moment you become conscious of them. Fearful ideas and emotions are a temporary condition. Being aware of the watcher of the thinker, the observer, is the beginning of releasing a fearful belief about yourself.

Contact Universal Life Energy which lifts you higher in awareness. As I release fearful thoughts there comes Declarations of Truth, I am statements: ‘I am Strong, Wise, True and Loving. I am One with the Great All that inspires me on the spiritual plane, guides me on the mental plane, sustains and protects me  on the physical plane.’ You are aligning your consciousness with the energy and Cause of Harmony. And, since your body, mind and emotions are one, then harmony seeps into them.

Your right as a Soul

Knowledge about ourselves is not always pretty. When I am sincere and silent in my spiritual purpose and discover that I am being motivated by fear then I am grateful for that realization!

It is our Higher Self, our superconscious and heart, that inspires us to consciously recognize false, painful beliefs in order to release them. And, remember you always have the help of the Eternal.

Fiery Love, commitment to spiritual partnership and transmitting Universal Energy and Love to the World

water-pansy-refined-message-best

We are in an environment in which relationships and our interactions are paramount. We want to experience fiery love. Fiery love with a partner. Fiery Love within. But we don’t always know it even when it is upon us. And, it is always upon us!

Spiritual partners and friends

Life is a great manifestation of fiery Love in our life. A love that is so great that we also are capable of conscious co-creation. Yet, we have become unconsciously  fearful and created a subconscious mental prison of fear.

Far too often we dwell in fear, impatience and ignorance without even knowing it, but a spiritual partner or friend will help us be aware our fears. Be grateful. It is the Law of Attraction at work. We are attracted to the ‘like’ quality of love in each other, even when it looks like life has handed us an unfair  situation.

My Friend’s help

I have experienced a spiritual friend challenging my fears many times! In my early years of study, my spiritual teacher spotted my ego believing myself to be a ‘nice person.’ She started asking me questions relentlessly to help me realize my attitude! Of course, it brought me to the moment. And, through questioning I realized that as a ‘nice ‘person’ I was in a conditioned state of fear of being unacceptable and disliked, rather than truly being conscious of myself, others or circumstances.

By challenging my unconscious fear of not being loved, I came to a higher level of understanding. It awakened compassion for myself and a deep appreciation, love and gratitude for others. And, a deep Love and gratitude for spiritual friends, especially when they challenge fear.

And from similar experiences I became conscious of the many, many spiritual companions in daily life. Though some are conscious of their influence, those more consciously distant are not, yet they are an important part in the process of awakening. Others are a reflection of ourselves and we are deeply connected.

Fighting to be one with Love and Harmony

We are ultimately responsible for our behaviors, our karma, our experiences and circumstances. A person that is striving to know their authentic power challenges any temptation to behave with timidity, bullying, complaint, revenge or protest. When we have an attitude of war or even a plea for compromise, it comes from fear and a feeling of powerlessness.

Here are some questions we may ask ourselves, ask a friend or a friend may ask us, to bring us to the moment and be conscious of what is really happening:

  1. Are you willing to be in the circumstance fully with the purpose to heal yourself?
  2. What are you thinking? What are you feeling?
  3.  Are you willing to recognize that the universe is giving you a compassionate opportunity to heal this part of your personality and ego that wants to hold you here?
  4. Are you going to distract yourself with other fears or feelings of powerlessness like worry, complaining, blaming someone else, or self-pity?
  5. Are you going to distract yourself by overeating, over drinking, over working, or over …?
  6. Does your conscience hurt? What is the purpose of the pain?
  7. Is your intent and motivation coming from a place of fear or love?
  8. Are you willing to be in the moment, calm, relaxed? Are you aware of being one with Universal Life Energy?
  9. Are you willing to help yourself, have compassion for yourself, release fear, choose love?
  10. Can you find the tenderness of your spiritual heart, the peace, goodwill and joy? Do you feel it?  (When you do then it is your response, your attitude, your behavior!)

I ask myself questions like these whenever I feel some sluggish energy creeping into my awareness.

 Commitment to Love

Each time you choose love over fear you will experience some mastery over yourself! And, you become conscious of being less and less dominated by fears, which is undeniably liberating! You will feel lifted, lighter and brighter.

Your commitment to love, to your strength, wisdom and sincerity will create more love and more joy in your life! Remember to radiate that Love and Be a spiritual friend to others by asking them questions when they agree to it.

When others do not agree to it you can still give your spiritual support and Love unconditionally. Love loves without harsh judgment and is inclusive. Consider sending Love and Light unconditionally to all humanity as in this exercise (link underlined):

Transmitting Divine Energy and Love to the World

As that Loving power circles the world everyone and everything is included.

“The best protection is a harmoniously functioning mind. Do not lose ourselves, or get panicky. Do the right thing at the right time. This protection can only be achieved if we establish in our minds a sense of harmony, peace and joy.”

It’s knowing how to fight that matters – facing any challenge empowered and in charge of your reality

bangkok-protest-3-refined

We may face unexpected life challenges, but believing that we’ve been wronged or that we are a failure can cause us to fall into despair and attract more problems. There are ways to look at challenges with an opportunist attitude and stay motivated and inspired. Consider these 5 ways to stay empowered by your soul and in charge of your own reality.

1. Remember you create or agree to circumstances to serve you. Every circumstance you face, every challenge before you, whether you judge it to be bad or good, is a spiritual opportunity. We create life circumstances and draw to ourselves that which helps us heal and become whole. To fully understand and be conscious of our Strength, Intelligence, Truth and most of all Love.

So when you are tempted to feel sorry for yourself, overindulge or stressed in a relationship, think of it as having a deeper purpose to heal yourself. It is an opportunity to bring out your strength, your wisdom, to feel your sincerity, to express your kindness and most of all know your love.

2. Be conscious and in the moment. We create our circumstance consciously or unconsciously. Be aware of your feelings. If you are unconscious of fear, greed or resentment then you are unconsciously choosing the more difficult path of completion. When you are mindful you free yourself from any attachment to the future expectations or past memories. And it empowers you create in the present moment.

So when you feel any anxiety or worry, pause. Bring yourself to the moment, feel yourself in your body, and breathe. Remind yourself that this moment is created to serve you, your evolution and happiness.

3. Challenge your fears, discharge negative, and align with Universal Harmony.

So when you sense a surge of anger, superiority or victimization be conscious of what you are feeling. Recognize the temptation as the universe’s compassionate way of letting you know there is an opportunity to harmonize. Make the Mental Contact with Universal Life Energy and visualize the temptation as a weed that you pull out by the roots from the subconscious and burn it with pure Light.

4. Work consciously in the Law of Love.  It is how you speak, behave and act that sets into motion an equal energy. Know yourself and you will Know Love. Consciously meet every person, every circumstance with goodwill and compassionate attitudes and behaviors. You are fusing your intent and will with the process of procreation with both Love and Intelligence.

So remember when someone treats you harshly be conscious of asking yourself, “what is really happening?” You can place your hand over your heart to help you connect with that loving power within that can also give you some insight into the situation. Choose love over fear. And remember gratitude for knowing the difference.

5. Consciously ask for help. We are constantly receiving inspiration from our soul through our Superconsciousness, but we are not always conscious of it. The Great Principle is compassionate so we also receive guidance from higher realms. Center your consciousness in your spiritual heart and listen.

Practice being silent within and listen to your heart rather than your mind. Your intuition will feel calm, sincere and harmonious. It may feel like a hunch or even an instinct. Express gratitude for that guidance and love. Then move forward accordingly without attachment to the results.

Your creative experience

While many of us must face hardships and difficult circumstances, others of us may be tempted into thinking we are superior and special. Yet, we are all beings in the process of growth, harmonization and evolution.

We choose to come to this earthly plane to fuse our consciousness with Love. To fight to harmonize our life without fear. It allows us to be a Light in this world. Inspired, empowered souls.

Turn your life around and find the deeper purpose of mindfulness

peaks-of-otter-finding-freedom

Through  millennia we have  come to believe our mind and brain are the most important part of ourselves. Our intellect and our technological progress. But in the dark recesses of our mind we also think there’s something wrong with us. The subconscious ego dominates our thinking and keeps us habitually circling in the same patterns of confusion. We become trapped in our head. This is one of the reasons so many of us are practicing Silence and mindfulness – to help free us from the ego’s grip. Yet there is a deeper, more filling purpose to mindfulness that can turn our life around.

In our head

In the Silence of mindfulness we are still centering our mental energies in our head and brain, developing our mental awareness and receptivity. However, we are also opening to our Higher Self, Superconsciousness and intuition, mentally raising above the subconscious. We are becoming conscious of a vaster realm of awareness, developing the pineal (7th chakra) and pituitary (6th chakra) glands. Connecting with the awareness of our soul.

In mindfulness

In mindfulness and Silence we are also becoming more conscious of the tenderness of our heart. The calm, gentle feeling that brings a sense of peace. We are mentally opening to the deep emotions and wisdom of our heart. That tender spot that feels love for our spouse, our children, family and friends. That spot that holds us together in times of troubles and crises. That spot of Divine Love, compassion and unconditional love.

In our Scared Center

New research shows that the heart also contains brain cells. With the heart being the Seat  of Love and Center of Attraction it is the spot of spiritual awareness; your most scared center and chamber of the Eternal. A spiritual consciousness.

Deeper purpose of mindfulness

This knowledge alone can change the way you think about your heart center and the 4th chakra. This can change the way you think about your mind, brain, 6th and 7th chakras. For the pineal and the pituitary (6th chakra) are parts of the brain that receives impressions from the heart.

The deeper purpose of mindfulness is to become conscious of the wisdom, the harmony of your heart. To become conscious of the reflection of the heart in your mind. In the 6th and 7th chakras. The pituitary and pineal.

The way the subconscious creates our life

In the human mental state  we live dominated by the subconscious ego with fear and doubt. We live in that part of the mind that believes in the Law of Polarity as the Law of Duality in which everything comes in opposite pairs. Something great happens, but there is also something bad. And, in the Law of Rhythm in which we may experience great progress, but then we swing back down to almost where we started.

Living a conscious heart

Yet, when you live a conscious heart, you are mindful, in the moment you are conscious of your ability to create from your heart and love. Creating from the scared chamber of your heart means you are creating with your genders balanced. Mind and Love are balanced and in harmony.

From your heart,  you are conscious of choosing to create your reality in the action of the Law of Cause and Effect, of karma with the harmony of your soul. The Law of Polarity and Law of Rhythm is the same as the Law of Unity or Harmony. When we experience something great we experience something good too. We continue to evolve in to greater freedom, strength and happiness.

That can turn you around. Completely. Change the way you see yourself, others and the world. Change the way you respond to challenges. Change the way you create your life.

How to live a conscious heart?: Living a Conscious Heart

“You may ask, but is not the mind in the brain? No, the brain is merely a switchboard for certain mental processes. It may seem stronger because the qualities are more concentrated. Nevertheless, the whole of our body has mind and soul interwoven in it.”

Eugene Fersen, The Teacher, Volume 1, page 55.

The heart of mindfulness – sometimes it is hidden

animated-heart-wallpaper-download_1024x768

We humanly identify ourselves with our personally, our intellect and ego and external power. Yet a clearer and purer reflection of ourselves is from our heart, our internal power because it has the true qualities of our soul. But without being conscious and mindful of our emotions, we cannot know the difference between the urges and beliefs of our ego and the guidance and wisdom of our heart to create a more harmonious reality.

Your direct connection

By being mindful with an purpose and intent of love in your heart and mind you can come to a higher order of understanding of yourself and the world. Your heart center is your Center of Love and emotional center of your soul.  And, your heart is your direct connection with the Great Principle, Cosmic Consciousness, God. It is through our connection and support of the Great Principle that we co-create our reality.

Our heart is also our center of attraction, so what we feel is what we attract. While your subconscious ego believes in a state of duality or opposites and co-creates your reality that way, your scared heart center co-creates in a state of unity, a blending of both Love and Mind. A blending of power, wisdom, love and compassion.

An emotional heart that is wise

Love raises your consciousness. And, is strong, wise and compassionate, even when on the outside it appears to be none of those things. For example, during my early years of studying Science of Being, I remember my spiritual teacher helping someone that was feeling so downtrodden, so hopeless that they couldn’t see a way out of the emotional dark hole they had dug for their selves. She bombarded them relentlessly with questions like, “How is it down there? Can you name it? Do you want me to push you further down? Maybe that’ll help, so you can push off from the bottom?” There was no sympathy at all! That went on for a long while until they both started giggling like children!

She helped them to be conscious of their emotions with a purpose of unconditional love for their self. In a state of love and mindfulness you can trace your emotions back to their cause and see the effects. From your heart of mindfulness you have compassion for yourself and have a sense of humor about your confusion and the illusion of an emotional black hole.

The Heart of your Inner Guide

We can circle in habitual patterns without understanding how our emotions feed our thoughts and behaviors. That we have the nervous jiggers, that we are impatience, feeling guilty, jealous or resentful. Or the causes behind  them.  Yet, through mindfulness we can come to our heart and soul.

We can use a mindful, self-observation method to help us not only detach emotionally from our problems, see the light at the end of the tunnel, but also to help us harmonize our reality.

Begin self-observation by first taking some deep breaths, relaxing and entering the Silence. Make the mental contact with Universal Life Energy to boost your mental clarity and clear your emotions. By detaching emotionally, becoming the watcher of the thinker, you can enter your heart center with the purpose and intent of unconditional Love. Feel within your heart personal love and gratitude for Life, Wisdom, Truth and Love that is your Unity with the Great Principle. Then from your heart, that very sincere, truthful and unconditionally loving center, ask yourself questions to trace your emotions and become conscious and aware from the heart of your True Self.

  • Can you name what you are feeling? And, the reason.
  • Are you conscious in the moment?
  • Are you conscious of virtues, strength, beauty and love in others? And in yourself?
  • What is your intent?
  • Do you have some insight about the relationship between your intent and your experience?
  • Do you have awareness of the law of karma in action?
  • Are you conscious of the lesson that You as a soul have chosen to learn?
  • Are you grateful?
  • Are you willing to detach from fear?
  • And, is it going to make you stronger or weaker? More awake or asleep?
  • Are you willing to choose to have a intent of creating your reality with love rather than fear?

Harmonizing your reality

Sometimes the heart of mindfulness is initially hidden under our unconscious emotions, yet when you continue to return to mindfulness with the intent and purpose of love, you will enter your heart center.

From your spiritual heart you are in a higher order of consciousness which is a blending of both intelligence and love, of both Wisdom and Love. And, in that state you can come to know your True Self and manifest your life from your soul.

In the hope You find Love close at hand, PortiaSLB

“An individuals character can never be judged when conditions are harmonious. The only true accurate understanding of people can be obtained when disharmonious things come to the surface. The surroundings effect an individual to the extend of bringing out what is latent within him.

We should fight, not to destroy disharmony, but to be on the same level with Harmony.”

Luciferian Consciousness; transcending duality

cloud shine3

As long as we see the world through the eyes of duality we give power to good and bad, and continue to think that the ‘bad’ is necessary to know the ‘good.’  Yet, we are going through a transition that goes beyond duality, beyond the human ego and subconscious belief in duality. We are refining our consciousness; we are the projection of Lucifer being redeemed.

Lucifer, Christ and humanity

I grew up thinking that Lucifer is Satan, the epitome of evil. But, now I know that is not true; it is merely an illusion constructed by human belief systems that feed on fear. Lucifer is  the Lightbearer, the bringer of Wisdom aflame with Love, helping us to return to Harmony.  We followed him from the realm of Harmony to create a life reality deep in Matter.

We separated in our mind – Spirit and Matter, Divine Mind and Divine Love, polarizing to Matter, leaving Divine Love of Harmony (Christ) behind. We consider Spirit and Matter, Mind and Love as opposites rather than twins of the same Power. Thus, we choose to see things in pairs of opposites, as being polar.

But we are transcending duality and realizing that Unity is the Law of the Absolute and everything blends. We are beginning to feel and live in the higher emotions of Love and Wisdom in our hearts.

Consider these 4 tips to transcend duality:

1. Think of Spirit as 50% outside of Matter and 50% as inside Matter.

Think of Spirit as outside and inside of you.

2. Consider your thinking as blending with Love.

Be motivated by Love in all that you think and do. 50% of your thinking is intelligence and reasoning and 50% is Love.

3. Deny opposites, refuse duality, use negation. See blending.

This does not mean you do not discriminate. Use your power of free will to discriminate in every thought and action, aligning with Love, not judging harshly. View it from the tenderness and wisdom of your heart.

4. Make and realize Declarations of Truth

In order to align your thinking with Unity, consider declarations like: “I am Spirit and Matter; One with the Absolute.”

Luciferian Consciousness

Luciferian Consciousness is motivated by Love, releasing the temptation of traits like fear, hate, jealousy, self-righteousness, pride, loneliness, or depression. We can not return to complete Harmony, our True Home, until we completely learn unconditional Love; mentally unify ourselves with It and physically purify our bodies.

Become aware of personal Love and consider an intent of impersonal Love to manifest in your attitudes and behaviors. When we use our purest Power of Love with the full Light of our Mind, realizing, ‘I am One with the Absolute,’ we come closer to Luciferian Consciousness.

Calming the turbulent tempest; Fear of Terrorists, Part 2

The raging storm of terror that is generated by hatred, fear and self-righteousness is also unconsciously fed by associated fear-based traits like worry, prejudice, impatience, pride and ignorance. An impersonal analysis of the situation can help us calm the turbulent tempest in our thinking, free us to be in the moment, and with the help of the Eternal begin to enact inner peace.

image

FreeDigitalPhotos.net, Stuart Miles

Unconscious of fear

Terrorists use religious and self-righteous claims as a means to unconsciously cover up their own fear and to abet hatred. We don’t know what terrorists as individuals have been through to get this way, yet terrorism is an attention-getter that is really a cry for love. It is the ego that doesn’t know how to cope with the stress of change and is afraid.

Being conditioned, they have cut off reasoning and consciousness. Their egos feel threatened and powerless, so in trying to empower their egos they fall further into hatred with a responsive belief that they are doing the right thing. With so much negative energy circling they become a slave to it.

It is the fall of mind. In self-righteous, fear and guilt they lose their empathy for others.

The fear boomerang

People join terrorist out of fear. Wanting their cause to grow, terrorists use negative energy to attract others. And it works. An individual’s fear and guilt for not meeting the desires of self-righteousness, can be attracted to the terrorists’ group fear energy. Fear attracts more negative energy.

It does not stop there because that fearful energy boomerangs back to the originators, burgeoning, attracting what they fear – retaliatory attacks and subjugation. It terrorizes them to the point of desperation and thus they attack again.

The energy builds as it circles the human mental atmosphere. Fear cycles, boomerangs round and round, growing world-wide, attacking anyone that unconsciously feeds it with worry, prejudice, antagonism or other fear-based traits.

All this because of doubt. As discussed in Part 1, we experience fear because we doubt our connection to and the support of the Great Principle. We feel separate from each other and the Great All, forgetting our unity.

Raise above doubt

Let us be brave and remember that we have the support of the Eternal, and enact unconditional Love instead of fear within ourselves, our heart. That we are conscious and aware of those individuals that fear and hate, yet they know not that they hurt themselves.

Just like a child that hits its mother. What does a mother do? She holds them, tight to her heart so the child doesn’t hit, until they return to their natural condition and consciousness. It is an attitude of unconditional Love. This can help us all to face the situation with courage, while not tolerating hatred, prejudice and egotistic self-righteousness.

Also consider these methods to return to calm and concordant thinking:

  • Exercises like the Radiant Heart and the Mental Contact to surround yourself in unconditional Love. It is a protection. Fear does not exist in Love.
  • And remember, by being mindful and in the moment we live now. Our thoughts turn away from fear. We interrupt dwelling in negative energy. We let go of resentment and trying to get back at others, knowing that holding on weakens us.
  • And, we can turn towards the creative aspect in our thinking, in our speech, attitude and actions. Positive creativity builds our inner happiness and joy. Your individual positive creativity can take infinite forms from helping others, the arts, physical sports, exercise, dance, to just being silent.

Emotional Seduction! The Power of Emotion to Change Your Life, Part 6

Emotional Seduction!

A smile is contagious! But, so are frowns, jeers and anger. We tend to mimic each others emotional expressions and synchronize to the emotional vibration too. If you are unconscious of emotional contagion your attitude can be greatly influenced by others, affecting your behavior.

Complain2

Synchronization
Of course, everyone reacts differently to negative or positive emotions when coming in contact with the emotions of others, but synchronization can happen unconsciously as the frequency of the emotional energy in your aura changes to the same or similar to those around you, particularly if you want to be considered part of the group.

Friends and families will synchronize emotionally as their aura’s blend and reflect the same or similar energy frequency. Our emotions attract similar emotions and traits from each other through the Law of Attraction. We physically boost that synchronization unconsciously by mimicking facial expressions and body language.

But, there are times that we make a cognitive effort to feel the same emotions as those around us like when we are at social gatherings, football games, parties, etc. We consciously mimic facial expressions, body language and tone of voice.

This is also very apparent in the workplace were you may find yourself feeling obligated to display the group emotion or attitude. Your boss and managers usually set the emotional tone since they are more emotionally contagious because of their authority.

You’ve most likely experienced this at motivational pep talks or work functions.

Emotional Contagion

FreeDigitalPhotos.net, Ambro

Emotional Reflection
We’ve been predominately conditioned unconsciously to emotionally synchronize from a young age. A classic example is when we smile back at someone that smiles at us, even if they are faking it. But, we can usually tell if they are faking it and are put off by it.

The great thing is that if someone genuinely smiles at us, we can not only see the difference we can feel it emotionally, lifting our spirits. We’ll most likely genuinely smile back, projecting that same loving energy from within ourselves. The love in a genuine smile draws love from within us through the Law of Attraction, while the hatred in a jeer can draw out fear from within us.

Emotions are Contagious!
Though we are strongly influenced by facial expressions and body language or by what others say, we are more seduced by the frequency of their mood – the emotional energy that radiates out and in their aura. The emotions charge thoughts with energy and they manifest physically in our facial expressions, body language and behaviors. So everything is connected and have real effects if we are conscious of them or not. The key point is to be conscious!

Emotional contagion works both ways – our emotions can influence the behaviors of others, so being conscious of our own emotions is just as important as being conscious of the emotions of others.

More to come on the subject…

In upcoming entries on emotions we will discuss ways to protect yourself from negative emotional contagion and to even benefit from positive contagion, with the help of the Great Law. Until then consider this quote to reflect upon:

“People who are inconsiderate, resent any consideration. If they remain long enough among considerate people, they will adjust themselves and become considerate.”

Eugene Fersen, Advanced Teachings in Science of Being, Volume II, page 13.

What Kind of Love?

cafe 4

sitting in the café, listening to the music
drinking sweet chai tea and waiting for You
I think of the lyrics and what they mean
“I will always love You.”

the voice rises so high and so beautiful
feeling so sad and blue

I will always love you
I You
I Will always Love
I Will always
I Will
I

what kind of Love is this?
